My bro's BD is July 19 but he won't be 60 (yet) & won't be going to CR (yet!).

Make sure that you read ALL of the Newbies Section, search the forum for answers to your questions but don't be afraid to ask for advice from the CRT vets. They have lots of good advice to lend.

Find a wing man to show you the ropes. You might be able to meet someone at your hotel but you will probably do better if you go to the Sportsmens Lodge to find a buddy. It's still early so there will likely be more Roll Call posts before then.

thanks for the response guys. correction on dates 7/16 to 7/26. i've been reading this website like a bible. its a goldmine for info. have my check in list written down in steps #1,#2,#3. etc. my first stop after settling in will be the SL, probably around 430 to 5:OO pm. be there for 8 days and hope to go on a few walking tours with the guys. I just wish I'd found out about this place a whole lot sooner. sounds like this is going to replace my 4-5 trips to vegas every year. looking forward to a great time and making new friends.

Happy Birthday to you. glad you found your way to Costa Rica you will love it .and ever go back to Lost Wages Nevada havent even thought about there untill tonight and after your trip you will laugh at the notion of wasting time in the desert.I use to go out there 4 or 5 times a year havent been anwhere but CR since my newbie trip in 05. the only problem is once you tasted real i mean real honey you are ruined for life.no bs. you wont think about anything but those sweet little young light brown bodies that are everywhere down there.
