My last three trips, over New Years, first of Feb and last week, have been a hoot...so I'm calling up the troops for these dates...14 - 19 March. Pre semana santa so don't worry. Fares are good so let's go. Ciao will be there and so will my wing DeepSouth along with resident chica-wizard BangBang57 himself. A couple of newbies I see will be there too. Good! Let's go!

PR,

Finally there is a forum where I can divulge my less than manly proclivity for this nectar of the gods, the white russian!

I rarely, if ever, drink at home. But when I am in CR I relish the cocktail hour (and beyond). At the duty free I always pick up a large bottle of stoli and a fifth of kahlua, among other items. My trick is to pack a couple of quarts of half and half in my luggage, which I believe, is necessary for the perfect white russian. The half and half is also essential for coffee.

Not surprisingly, the girls love white russians. Alternatively, I will switch the Kahlua with Baileys, which is also very popular with the girls.

There, I've said it. My name is Ciaociao and I love white russians!! Now, back to the tranny discussion.

Ciaociao

Speaking of Bailey's... I always pick up a liter or two of Bailey's for $18/bottle at duty-free, my girl and her amigas love the stuff. They have a special now 2 for $30.

It's about $27 in Mas x Menos for a liter bottle.

I assume the duty-free is located at the airport? Easy to find when you land?

Several actually, the best one to hit IMHO is the one right next to baggage claim, great to kill a few minutes while waiting for your luggage. If the lines are not long, there are a few on your way from the gate to the Immigration area..

Do you guys have an official cocktail hour planned? I will be staying at HDR after all of the good info I've read I wouldn't mind meeting some of the regulars.

Ciao,

I will do the same amigo. Let 'em make fun, let 'em laugh. Let them question the bit of cream on the upper lip, let 'em call it Foo Foo, let them joke about Hannah Montana concerts....let 'em have their fun....    8)

We know the truth. This is NOT a weenie drink here.

Kahlua + Vodka is borderline hallucinogenic to me. It has always been my favorite libation. Kahlua only - not that Cafe Rica or Tia Maria or any other Coffee liquer. (Kapali came close and was cheaper but I haven't found it in a while.) Most of the time I go black, but if I'm mixin' at the casa with a chica I'll use the cream. A little cream takes the edge off and is good if you want to speed up the buzz. . I also often just use regular milk - and it's like a frickin' milk shake! It's the fast track to paradise. And guys...here's a tip...you want your chica on the fast track? like Ciao said the chicas love it. There ya go!

So yes I think we should have a Russian party at the SL and don't be surprised if some of you guys get just a little phucked up. :D And as we're gettin high with our chicas wrapped around us we'll toast our pals in the North, El Silencioso, El Ciego, Paco Loco, as they shovel their snow and scrape the ice off their windshields... :P
