HDR is one place to meet guys but the unofficial CRT clubhouse is Sportsman's Lodge. If I were you, I would head to SL around happy hour and grab dinner and meet the guys who are in town. Don't be shy, they are as crazy as you are, so no pro'lem!

My best friend backed out of our trip last minute. I was going because my friend has been there before and knew all about it and now Im on my own! I will be there in the morning on Saturday January 5th. Im an experienced traveler but it is my first time to Central America. Im glad I joined this site because this may be an opportunity for me to find some cool people to hang out with while I am there. Anyone out there mind showing a cool person around?? |

Son as nice as it is the Sportsman's Lodge is the break room business is done at the Del Rey.

Grady, When Lee leaves on the 14th I will be arriving to pick up where he left off. If you want to meet up at a specific time PM me. I will usually be at the SL around Happy Hour OOOPs Happy Hour is all day and night ok arounf 5 or so.

Welcome Grady! I arrive 1/8; I will be spending a large portion of my day at Zona Blue and my night at the Del Rey Bar (& Grill). My friends do not arrive until my third day, so I will use this alone time to get to know myself (as well as the scores of chicas). You will not have a problem meeting fellow mongers while hanging at the DR bar. Last month, I went alone but I met several mongers on the plane and at the bar. Although I had traveled alone, everywhere I went, there were friendly faces. See you next week! |

CAUTION: Cankerass is an excellent guide and wingman. However, if you feed him a Benedryl, you may have to lift his face out of the ashtray to talk to him.

Pac if I am a good boy and dont spend all my money this trip I will be back Feb.3 thru the 10th. I dont know how i got so wiped out last trip!!!man am i counting the hours till wheels down. dude, just go. drop by the sportmans lodge or zona blue or the del rey around 5 to 6 pm when some members meet near the tables neat the registration desk. have fun and write a trip report. and take your camera. |
