The time has come to introduce myself. Me llama Tyrus. I have been lurking for about a year, and became a VIP member in July. (Part of the reason I haven’t posted is that some of you guys can be rough on new posters.) I have read a lot, looked at the pictures, and generally tried to familiarize myself with the CRT scene.

While new to this group, I have been a “patron of the arts” most of my adult life. With the exception of my US Navy years, my experience has been mostly limited to stateside, where it is both illegal and expensive. I have taken a brief foray into Canada, where the business is illegal, but there are no laws governing what happens between two individuals…so all the girls are ‘amateurs ‘. I also went to St. Petersburg, Russia on one of A Foreign Affair’s romance tours. While the point of that trip was to find a Russian bride, you can be sure I sampled the local cuisine while there, and it was eye opening. (I would be happy to describe that experience in another post if anyone would like to know.)

I stumbled upon CRT while researching escort resorts (Vikings et al.) The idea of taking a vacation in a plush Caribbean resort where model quality babes are employed to cater to my every whim has its appeal, especially when I am accustomed to paying stateside escort prices, and my area is cheap compared to places like NYC, Chi, LA, etc. (I usually pay $300-350 for an hour in an average hotel room with a woman who is at least a 7 by American standards.) I still may do one of those resorts, just for the experience, but I now understand that if I am willing to forgo the plush resort part, I can get very much the same experience in SJ, MDE or RIO for ¼ the cost.

At any rate, I will be joining you in person as well as in spirit soon. I would like to find a wingman for a SJ trip within the next 6 mos. and then make a second trip within the year to MDE. Till then, via con Dios, mi amigos.

Welcome to the "brotherhood" Tyrus!! Some of us have a bigger bark than bite. I am sure you will enjoy the friendships you will cultivate through this board and on your visits.

Personally once I went to MDE I didn't want to come back to CR. Just a difference in tastes in women and attitude. I have a real weakness for Colombianas and even married one.(Not a working girl)

So once again welcome and have fun with the board.

Tyrus,

Welcome to the board as a member and poster... I'm sure you picked up some valuable and entertaining info as a lurker... I did the same thing...

When you are ready to book a trip just post your time frame under 'Roll Calls' and other VIPs will also announce when they are going down... Then email them and plan to meet for a drink at the HDR, SL, News Cafe and the fun will begin...

I'd really like to hear about your Russian experience... I met a little spinner from Ukraine here in Florida and she was amazing once you hit the sack... Are they all like that?

We may have a few sarcastic one liner experts, but I'm told they are actually pretty good guys... So just keep a sense of humor, be yourself, and keep posting... 8)

Thanks for the welcome guys. Spark, it was noted that to truly enjoy the full MDE experience, it is best to be 25-35, in shape, and speak conversational spanish. I'm afraid I fail all of these criteria, so my agenda there would be to stay at the Mansion and visit the MP's rather than drinking in the full MDE cultural experience. That said, the photos I have seen of the women there have me convinced that I will love it anyway.

I have a vacation from work from 10/29-11/4, so I am trying to work out the details of a 3-4 day trip to SJO during that week. I will post my results when (if) finalized.

OK, details worked out. I will be arriving on 10/29 and staying at the Sportsman until 11/2. Did someone mention a holloween party?

Opps, I forgot to check, it a visa required for travel to & from CR/USA?

The Halloween party is on 10/27 at Sportsmens, you're a couple days late.

No visa, just a valid passport. It should be valid for at least 30 days after you enter Costa Rica. I recommend that you have a passport valid for at least 3 months from the date you enter CR.

If your passport expires in the next 3 months, read this thread: https://costaricaticas.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18848
You can renew it in under a week, but will cost ya.

Tyrus I welcome you to the club. But must warn you that I read withdrawl pains all over you.

What I mean is CR is like candy and once tasted hard to forget. The only hope is when you return just go ahead and book your return trip. Because the 7's for 3c just won't do it ever again.

Phuck we have to die from something.
