Post subject:  Anniversary Party 1st Timers / Old Timers
Just curious – :roll:

The CRT 4th Anniversary Party is less than a week away, and all 130 +/- spots have been taken. Out of those 130 members who are attending this years’ party, how many are 1st timers? In other words, how many members will be attending a CRT anniversary party for the very 1st time? I think we might have quite a few this year.

For those who’ve attended one (or all 3) anniversary parties in the past, you know the type of event this will be, and you know the party gets better and better each year. But for 1st timers, they might not know how grand in scale this party really is.

Granted, other CRT parties throughout the year, i.e., Superbowl, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Halloween, X-mas / New Years, etc. are always great, but the Anniversary Party is definitely the mack-daddy of CRT parties. 8)

So my post is actually two-fold.
- For any 1st time attendees, what are you expecting?
- And for “Anniversary Party Alumni”, what advice would you give to someone who will “experience” a CRT Anniversary Party for the first time? And / or what memories stand out in your mind from past CRT Anniversary Parties?

After much tainting from mi amigos (including YOU :P :P ) for missing the last 2, I made a decision several months ago that I would make my 1st official anniversary party in 2007.

Super Bowl....Check
Memorial Day...Check
4th of July.....Check
Halloween.....Check
Labor Day/Anniversary Party....Will be checked off soon
X-mas/New Years....TBD

All I am expecting (after 12 trips in the books) is a Great Time as always in Paradise

I was a newbie last year, had only been in country for two months. The party was much better than I expected. I also got to meet a large number of VIPS many of whom became wingmen on subsequent trips. A couple of things I remember:

1) Everyone was so happy to be here and in great moods

2) Great sense of camraderie. At midnight at the Key Largo the Saturday night I am in the back bar with Mendo and BiggerThenA and I look around and there are at least 50 CRTers in the place living it up.

3) Eat your wheaties, four days of hard partying for those that can hang. I am staying in and sleeping the next three nights.

4) At the end of the weekend I kept saying to myself I can not believe I phucking live here over and over.


For the newbies, do not be shy. It is a strong tradtion for more experienced guys to help out. Introduce yourself and you will likely be included on some serious fun.

I am counting the minutes myself.

This will be my first anniversary party. Not sure if I have any expectations at all. I know there will be some great guys there and plenty of women. It's nice to put names to faces and I'm sure by the time it's all said and done I'll make some good friends.

Good point BK. Especially for a newbie, the party might be a little 'overwhelming' !!!

Don't be shy. You might not know the person sitting (or standing) next to you, but you can be assured that he's more-than-likely just another CRT horny bastid like the rest of us. Introduce yourself, and you might be surprised how much you have in common...

This will be my first Anniversary Party.

As of now, my only expectation is that I will meet a bunch of good men, phuck a young lady (or two), and party like there is no tomorrow.

With MG staying above me in the suite, there probably will be no tomorrow, only one continuous day. :shock:

Be my first Anniversary Party with CRT since I've only been a member just under six months and have spent three of those in CR :shock: :oops:
I just hope it's similar to the 'Birthday Party' weekend a month or two ago. Big party one night, smaller party next, lesbian shows, UFC fight and a cute tica on my arm. What more can you want??? At least we won't have to worry about a certain person's novia with a pool stick and an angry look while he gets some more of those intimate lap dances. :wink:
From you vets, what more do I need to be prepared for? :twisted:

Will be my first (wingman's too) Anniversary Party. Only been to CR once (June) but through this board have met other members (none of whom will be at the Party unfortunately) who are great guys. I imagine there will be a lot a trickery at the party (aided by an open bar) and plenty of chicas. Unfortunately I have to leave on the late (Sunday) flight on Spirit, so I will probably be ducking out of the party an hour or so early.
Should be at the SL Saturday afternoon for some drinks and football (Golden Tee take American dollars or colones?). Hope to find out where all the excitement will be Saturday night on the town. I can't wait for this weekend. :twisted: :D :twisted: :D :twisted: :D :!:

COMO ESTAN BITCHES!!!!!!!

Not only is this my first anniversery party...

And not only is it my first ever CRT event...

and not only have I only ONE "famous" CRTer....

and not only have I only spent TWO :shock: :shock: nights in my entire life in San Jose Costa Rica....

....

But i haven't even met a SINGLE VIP who is on the list of 130.

(But dougpi is on my payroll, so I know everything about all of you :roll: )

As some of you probably assume, I'm an extremely energetic guy who is ALWAYS in a glowingly good mood. When it comes to expectations, I need little to nothing to have the time of my life, but I can only assume the camraderie will be something of legend for a lone wolf such as myself. Honestly, I'm more looking fwd to the stories and the names to faces game than that 10 chicas I'm taking to pound town between Friday Night and Monday early afternoon...

I won't be shy about introducing myself, I just won't have a "base crew" to start with... I just feel bad that I won't have time to really get to know too many because Ill want to rap with everyone and see the venues...

I can't wait though, if you think you see me... give a shout, I'm lookin fwd to some serious good times...

Although this will be my 5th trip to CR ,it will be my first anniversary party,actually my first any kinda party. I'm expecting to meet a lot of great CRT guys ,lots of chica's and the great Circus act . Not sure if i'm inviting my Novia, if not then hoping to meet a lot of green wristband girls.Flying out tomorrow , be in Key Largo tomorrow night, will be strolling in SL around 9pm , anybody in town tomorrow night look me up ,love to buy you guys a drink. I can't blame ya...she's HOT! I'd be more worried about the CRT brotherhood with her in the hottest outfit than I would her jealousy! Make sure you double or triple size that red wristband...or wrap it around her neck for better visibility!
Oh, do I need to bring the 'backup-cd' to replace all those fond memories you probably dumped in the trash can??
