Me and my friend are getting there this weekend. I read alot of helpful info on this board (departure tax, difference between a hotel and massage parlor, etc). I still can't seem to figure out a few things though. I see that even the club across the street from del rey is full of working girls and (their friends?). Is there somewhere to go to just pick up a girl straight up without her being a prostitute? Are Costa Rican girls like girls in nyc, just go out and make out or do they act conservatively?

Also, what kind of music is played at the clubs there? I can just do hip hop and my friend knows a little salsa. Is this going to look ridiculous there?

Also, i read that zona blue charges $200 a room!. What if you're not staying there? Do they have rooms just for an hour where you pay the $42? Or do you have to take em somewhere else? thanks for any info all!

Do not attempt to contact the girls at ZB off premises or make a date with them. You will see signs to that effect throughtout ZB. It is rumored Doug PI has been retained to ensure compliance with this policy. However, for $55 (per) you can have an hour with the talent at ZB, including shower and sauna ($42 if you upgrade to VIP status). If you are trying to go out and pick up girls (non-professional) and speak Spanish, run some searches on this site. There appears to be plenty of places one can find girls. I think you will find Costa Rican girls are like those in NYC, Miami, LA, Sao Paulo, etc, IMHO. Most importantly, be safe and have a great time.

I've read posts that mention two Jacuzzis for the $200 rooms, is there one available for the hourly rate? Anyone have a photo of the Jacuzzi at ZB? I've looked in both VIP gallery and on the ZB wesite, but haven't found one.

All the girls in the club are looking for your rich gringo ass to fork out as much money as possible for as little sex as possible so they can either go home or go back and make more money . I met one of these "friends of prostitutes "I offerd her $60 to take a ride on the jersey express and she declined said she wanted $80 I said have a nice night . If you find a girl who will have sex with you for free in the gultch area please let me know so i can call Ripley and tell him !!! Club Vertigo kicks ass on a sat nite. !!!!!!!! They play techno and trance, and have a fog machine. All the cabbies know where it is. Does not get going till around 11PM. Sometimes a Loong line to get in. Pay the door guy $10.00 each, and you breeze right past. I have taken girls from Del Rey there, and had a blast. Great music. You can also ck out the Pueblo. Lots of smaller clubs, with all different types of music. HAVE FUN !!!!!!
