Hi,
I will be on flight AA2167 on Wednesday and have reserved the CityBus
pickup and drive to the hotel; 1st time I use the shuttle bus - $6.00 can't beat that; only hope the hurricane Denis isn't screwing up the schedule!

Good Luck guys,

The Cursed flight AA#2167 Lives!!!!!

True story. Just this past week on August 8th while sitting in the Admiral Lounge waiting to board my AA flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil heading to Rio, the announcement came on stating that flight AA#2167 is delayed for 2 hours. I've just about fell off my seat laughing so hard. For those of you guys who knows me with my history of the cursed flight 2167, where I have a rate of 95% of it being late.

I fly in the same day but made sure I got in much earlier so used Contiental to arrive at 2pm. Too many horror stories about that AA2167 flight.
My first time in CR, my return flight was delayed over two hours because AA2167 arrived over six hours late the night before after a stop in Guatamala. The crew had too many duty hours because of that so they had to fly a new crew in from Miami to fly the plane (with me on it) back to Dallas.
Good luck Strat and I'll be waiting for you at SL when you arrive...or maybe not if it's too late

I would suggest making sure you have phone numbers if someone is going to pick you up.

My 2167 journey finally landed in CR at about 10:45 PM. No gates were available so they bused us into the terminal. By the time I got to the SL it was after midnight.

I will say that AA gave me 10,000 miles, but I would have rather had the time in CR that I was supposed to have.

This trip I'm on LACSA non-stop out of LA. Only time will tell.......
