First time going to CR and just found this board after i booked my flight yesterday so be nice to the new guy. i plan on staying a few days in SJO (checking out a volcano), and a few days at Cabinas Las Arenas by Jaco (are they tica frendly?). also a 1 day rafting trip on the pacure followed by a couple days in the Limon area. How is the tica situation in Jaco and Limon? i like'em 18 and slim . i will be by myself and speak little spanish.

Make darn sure you check IDs very close so you stay out of trouble.

Is it common to run into fake id's from the jailbate? If so is there a way to tell a fake or is it obv. i was unable to find a link of what their real id's even look like in CR.

Hey Blazenup, I am going to be in CR from the 10th until the 23rd of July, with my first several days in SJ. I am also going to be traveling by myself however I do speak Spanish fairly well. Let me know if you want to hit the MPs and SCs with me at all during your trip, I am looking for a wingman for those dates.

Oh, for sure man, no foreign jails 4 me. but i will be on the 18-22 y/o hunt. It seems like i scratched the Jaco days and booked it all in SJO with 2 days in PV. I will be rafting the Pacuare on either July 15th or 18th for under cein if anybodys is interested.

I will be in CR for July 18-25th and staying at SL. I'm going with a friend who has been before but this will be my cherry trip.

I'm heading to the West coast on the 16th for 2-3 days if you're up for having a wingman. Probably going to catch the Monday morning bus to Jaco and either stay there or Manuel Antonio. There are plenty of open hotels in Jaco this time of year. There's a fairly cheap one across the street from the Beatle Bar.
