In the second picture... are those yellow discs arepas, patacon or something else? There's no mistaking the pork chop, though! :wink:

Piña. Grilled pineapple. Mmmmm mmmmm good. We had some grilled plantains too as well as old fashioned potatoes.

Those are slices of piñas. Grilled pineapple slices. Go great with the pork.

I ordered 5 extra grande platters of pork chops. Each platter contains 3 big chops. We had 10 guys and ate about 13.5 chops out of the 15. We took back the rest. I gave to a couple of chicas who were hanging around SL when we got back. They enjoyed them. :D

I will try to organize a pork chop outing every time I'm town. I met a cool driver with a van on my last day that could take us there, wait, and bring us back for $50.
