I guess the La Amistad is booked up too but I will try them. Anyone ever stay in the penthouse rooms or the studio apt in La Amistad? They look nice on the website.

Does anyone have any suggestions on other hotels within walking distance to Sportsmans where I would want to stay (chica friendly/clean/comfy)? I have a CRT card on the way also.

I've stayed in #310, the penthouse with the loft bed. Nice enough, but IMHO the space is poorly-utilized. Try one of the other p-houses.

You could always stay at the SleepInn. or the Holiday Inn, if you don't mind paying the $75.00 "chica fee."

I have sent in a reservation request to Hotel Castillo for a deluxe room (though I will take whatever is available) from Aug. 27th through Sept. 4th (8 nights). I am waiting for a response. Hopefully they will have a vacancy for me.

One thing...I believe they have a weekly rate discount and a 25% CRT discount. Can anyone confirm?
Do you guys normally apply the CRT discount to hotel rooms at check in or do I have to let them know in advance?
