I am looking for a van for us for 11am pickup. But it's not easy to do from the US, so if anybody knows a driver, you can contact him. $50 would be a good rate. But no more than $60, we could walk up to any taxista and get that.

Let me know if you find something.

Orange I am not sure how good your spanglish is ... mine is not very conversational. But, here is a driver with a van who will likely do it:

Thanks, I just called him. We're booked. He has a van that seats 15. Anybody else want to go, we can take about 5 more.

PS Sausage fest = 2 or more Gringos in the same area.

By the way, I booked the van for ¢30,000 ($60). That's the best I could find. (Gas is more expensive in CR than here. And a van burns more than a little Hyundai.)

Thanks a bunch for suggesting and organizing this little outing.

And as a side note I do know how to get chicas. I take a hundred dollar bill, Lick it and paste it to my forehead. Works wonders.

To get to CR this year I will need the help of one more lady MOTHER NATURE. Looks like another round of storms coming out of Canada.

If you mean the trip to Pork Chop Hill , We have Orange to thank for that.
But if you mean Coming to CR , I will be there. I was just saying I hope the weather cooperates so I do not have to sit in a airport for a few days. Ariving SJO Thur 1230
