PV is awesome, a perfect place to drag a chica since there is no P4P there. Also, few will realize she's a working girl, which could open up some future opportunities for you - if that's what you might be looking for. If she's not from Limon it will be a whole new world to her, and she'll probably be grateful to you for opening that door to her - more future benefits! Know what I mean, mon?

I rented a place on the beach in PV for 26th & 27th. Place has an extra bedroom and even a little guest house. Also, the place next door is un-rented. So if you have the same type of plan in mind, you'll have a drinking buddy on those dates. Looks like some deals on SUVs cheaper than Interbus. I'll be at SL starting 11/23, so let's have a few. Also you can PM me if you'd like details. I may need some guidance on a chica or two that can appreciate an excursion.

Arriving @ SL on Saturday nov 28 to dec 4.
This is 2nd trip in 2 months, looking forward to staying at SL this time.
Meet Bill & his staff the first time there and really felt comfortable. I also stayed at la amistad in suite 1st time there. Nice rooms & bar area. sometimes a little noisy early because of train crossing.
if anyone wants or needs wingman, I'm available to hang with now that I know my way around a little (lol). just pm me.

Lets go Phillies !!

I'm starting to count the days. Befor I know it it'll be Turkey Day for everyone but me unless they serve it on the plane. Looking forward to meeting many of you as well as my expat friends and of course my buddy El Silencioso.

My flight ndoes not arrive until 9:30 PM Thanksgiving Day so I'm guessing that the bar at SL may be closed by the time I get checked in and have the room Chica proofed. If that's the case I will be off to the DR/KL to choose my very own special Thanksgiving dinner. :D

Since some of us are going to have to deal with that train right down the street, let's put it to use and head out to Heredia for either lunch or dinner. I heard about a steak house out that way. I think it's called P&L???

What deals? I haven't found anything under $35-40/day + insurance + gas (@ $5/gal)... cheaper than IB?

I once drove from SJO to Tambor. It was OK to do once but I was pretty tired and stressed out on the return trip. I thought that the Germans drove like madmen until I drove in Costa Rica. Take the bus and enjoy the trip.
