slight hiccup.

i was supposed to leave at 7:30am today, but the flight was overbooked so they were looking for volunteers to give up their seats.

the first offer was food vouchers and a $500 travel certificate.

when the passengers were almost all boarded, they were getting desperate. this entire time i was contemplating to myself, i can fly to CR again for free if i give up my seat.

so i walk up to the counter and said i might be a volunteer, as long as i could still leave on the flight later today. and surprisingly, the lady upped the offer to $800 if i took the deal right then and there.

it was a no-brainer at that point. i thought to myself, now i can fly to CR for free on first class!!

but then i was reading the terms of conditions on the certificate, and it said i could keep using it like a giftcard. essentially, i can buy more than one ticket from this.

so what do you think, should i use it for 2.5 tickets on coach or 1 ticket on first class? hmmmm decisionssss!! lol
