I'm coming down for one night. Arrive Dec 7th, leave the 8th. Yes, living in South FL does make travelling to CR easy. I'm staying at the Castillo. I plan on going to New Fantasy and ZB in the afternoon. Then I'm meeting up with a Chica later in the evening. Maybe I'll run into some of you during the afternoon.

Is the Le Grillion open and happening Sun to Wed? I won't get there until the 9th and leave the 12th. If you all get there before save some for me.

Just finally got the guts up, pulled the trigger and booked a flight to San Jose out of Miami for my very first trip. (not even drinking when I did it)
Had some plans in Fort Lauderdale that fell through, and now I am only spending 1 night there. I am then on the 9.55 from Miami to SJ Friday 7th. If anyone happens to be on that flight , that would like to share a cab into town, that would be appreciated, but I am sure I can make it on my own.

Would love to join any of you guys during the weekend, that would be willing to show me the ropes, I really only have a few words of Spainish..need to brush up at least on my numbers!. But certainly have learned a lot reading this site or so I think, probably get eaten alive!!

I am in the process of booking my hotel now, tried to call DR no answer??
However Amon Plaza have rooms on their corporate web site for $80pn... Any thoughts on if it would be better to stay at the DR, or perhaps go through Nixon, or maybe just take the $80. I guess the Sportsman is sold out.

2 question for anyone living in Sth FL, as I have Thurs night to kill/warm up, staying in Hallandale. (sorry yo go off the topic)
1.How is the poker situation at the Hard Rock these days, I heard new laws have made it a bigger game, not that I am into big games...,but the 1/2 limit they played for years was not much to talk about. Secondly is Tootsies still worth a visit. (I lived in Miami for many years but now in rainy England.) Probably should save my money for somewhere like Grillion, but a short trip down memory lane would be fun.

Really looking forward to this trip , hopefully December is not so quite as I have read in some postings.

Not sure if I can make the Friday night trip or not but will be doing one on Saturday night for all those late in to town a day or want to do it two nights in a row. See the thread in the Nightclub section.

Welcome aboard -- meet up with everybody Friday at the SL and come out with us. I'm sure no one would mind showing you some of the ropes.

You prob. won't want to leave after just one night. Next time see if you can stay longer it's worth it.

I don;t know about the poker. Tootsies has actually moved a couple years ago. Yhey tore down the old buildiing and opened up shop at an old BJs Wholesale club on Miami Gardens. It's a lot bigger, but it lost some of the magic in the process in my opinion. I prefer Cheetah Hallandale.

I am in-town from 12/7-10 and staying at the Prez. Meeting another CRT member from Denver and always look forward to meeting others. PM me and we'll try to connect.
