I ill be staying in the SL Sept 11th till Sept 18th. Anyone going to be around at that time let me know I'm trying to get some people together for an ATV tour and Fishing...

I have been to CR once before but this will be my first time for a mongering only trip. I'm planning on being there the 16th-19th. I'm thinking of staying at the SL as well and would be happy to gain a wingman as I will be flying solo. I just looked at my passport though and it's expired, I am going to put a rush on it this week, so hopefully it will be back in time for my trip otherwise I'm phucked but not in a good way.
How much notice does the SL need for a reservation? and is it usually filled up during that time of year?

I'll be staying at the Amistad for a few nights starting the 15th, then I head to Tamarindo for a week of surfing and mongering. I can definitely come look for you tho'. I ahve another guy I'm going to be looking for at the SL also. When are you thinking of doing the ATV tour? I'll be at ZB on Wednesday to pick up my membership card. We can meet there if you want? I should be there around 8pmish...? I don't get there til 7pm in SJ. Let me know. ahh man...You'll be there in Sept., and I'm going this week. DAMN! never mind.

I wanted to do a full day tour on September 12th because I'll be flying in around noon on the 11th. I contacted the ATV tour and they will take out one person for the full day but they will do the half day for three people. I'll see you at the bar in the sportsman on the 11th. If you want to do the ATV tour just let me know..

I will be there Sept 10th-14th. Sept 12th was the day i wanted to do the ATV tour. You got a wingman for the ATV's if you want.

PurePower whole day tour on the 12th, I'm going to book with the tour through their website tonight. Lets arrange a place to get picked up and try to get a group together... "First rounds on me at the SL.."

Im defiantly down. Probably the most logical thing would be to meet up after you get settled in on that Tuesday, then discuss it over some cold ones. It also might be best to meet me at the HDR, since i dont know my way around the city yet.

This shit is going to be fun as hell.

Ok - I just booked my room at the SL, should have my passport back by the first of the month and I'm getting ready for my virgin tour. I will be checking in on the 16th in the afternoon and leaving on the 19th. I hope I can meet up with some of you guys during that time. That is if you don't mind showing a newbie some of the finer points of CR mongering.
Meanwhile I'm doing all the reading I can here to make sure this trip is packed full of "activities" and hopefully I can avoid a lot of newbie mistakes. Sorry I won't be there in time to join up with the ATV trip.

If I were you, I would call and call and call and call, just to check up and make sure about your passport. Lots of problems lately with processing of passports and renewals. There's been a couple threads about this over the past couple months. The last 3 people I talked to about their passport renewal - they all said it took between 44 and 47 days. And they paid extra for the "Expedite".

Coloneljames goodluck with the passport, keep checking up on it because there has been a number of delays since the feds changed the rules requireing one to leave the country. If you make it I'll see you at the SL.. I'll be the drunk guy with the chicas in the bar....
