My first solo trip went so well last Feb. that I am headed back to San Jose 7/21-7/24. Let me know if anyone will be around. Staying at La Amistad.

I am a newbie and will be there the same weekend!! I am coming with a buddy of mine who has been there twice and from the stories I have heard and what I have read I think I'm gonna have a pretty damn good time!! We are thinking of doing Jaco the first night and then heading into San Jose for Friday and Saturday.

Where are you staying?

You will have a great time! I am staying at La Amistad. We won't be headed out to Jaco, but will be in SJ 7/21-7/24. I'll send you a PM with my Whatsapp #. Ping me when you are in the area, we will be hitting all my favorite spots (Sportsmens, Del Rey, some MP's etc..)

Me and a winger arrive on July 22nd I'm picking him up at Amistad as we have a car. Heading straight to Jaco for one night and will be back at Amistad on the 23rd- 26th

Jaco is really crowded this weekend 22-24th. We got into Hotel Cocal for Friday the 22nd. But many hotels are sold out. There is a surfing event this weekend around there..FYI

Thanks for the tip Rugbytim...I think we may skip Jaco this time around. Doing a quick cost and time analysis seemed to make the decision easy. If we were staying longer than 3 days I would definitely hop down there to Jaco. Maybe next trip!
