Well All...I have found a way to get 5 days away and am planning to go to MDE afterall. With that said, I totally appreciate all the feedback, because my dilemma has not gone away, and I will soon be facing another decision of where to go over a long weekend. And based on what I have heard, I still think there is still fun to be had in SJO. When I really do stop to think about it, going there beats the He** out of NOT going anywhere! I just need to adjust my attitude and expectations, and all will be fine. Fortunately, I still have a few quality amigas who would welcome me back with open arms. Or is that my wallet they are welcoming? ...LOL

I think the other place I am expecting to give a try is a long weekend in TJ. If anyone has good intel on how long (on average) it takes to get thru the border on the return, please shoot me a note. Research is pretty vague on what to expect, and how much time should be planned for.
