After reading about the delays to enter the country due to the discount double check passports, I hope I can stay awake long enough to have fun the fist night. Ugh.

2---if I didn't find anything to my liking at the Sportsmen, head to the Del Ray @ 10:30

We arrive Wednesday night, but I get your point. With the new passport checks, I'm not sure when those of us arriving at 8 will actually arrive to our hotels...I'm extremely motivated though. Hopefully, we are the only flight around that time...however, with the delay times in the hours and not minutes, it may not matter as we will still have lines if it's had all day to back up.

I'm right there with you Raiderz and I'm in touch with Bashfuldwarf on whatsapp so we may end up meeting up Wednesday night at DR or Alcazar. I do hope we are the only flight coming in around 8pm so we can get off plane go through all the lines and get on to SJ to let the fun begin

I prefer to hit the Del Rey as it's my only night in SJ.

that is probably what we will be doing as well the first night considering it is late when we arrive to our hotel, then we will just do the clubs the next night. Are you off to Jaco the next day, we are heading to Jaco on Thursday for a full day then back to SJ that night.

Heading to my small casa by Uvita. Hanging with friends and neighbors for Thanksgiving. A tica friend is making her first turkey. I have a tico buddy with a panga boat and we will do some fishing. We like to troll the mouth of the Sierpe river for macarela and pargo. I've caught a couple trophy rooster fish on those trips as well. I'm going to chop a hiking trail around my property...gringo with a machete. I'll do some ocean kayak fishing as well. I've got a long time Tico builder buddy that I'm going to meet to go over plans for a small pool. Maybe he can have it done by March when I bring my boys and their friends down...Too bad you don't have more time, I could show you why my tico friends call me "Campesino".

that sounds like an awesome trip and we thought about doing some fishing but doubt the time will allow us and this is our first trip so probably just going to take in the sites and have some fun. We will be in Jaco that Thursday so may rent some ATV's possibly for an hour or so and just mess around then check out Cocal to see what that is all about.

I'm sure after this trip we will be wanting to return next year (hopefully)
