I will be making my maiden vovage to SJ in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately I will not have my wingmen with me so I'm hoping a Texas fella like myself can link up with a few experienced travelers to share a tip or two (of course a beer is on me) to assist me in making this a minimum mistake free trip. I'm relatively new to the game however I have a few trips to Pattaya, Tegucigalpa and over a dozen to Sosua under my belt. I'm staying at HLH because SL was completely booked. I've been going through the newbies thread and there so much info to try and retain. It's like drinking from a fire hydrant. I try to have a few rules that I go by but understand that each place is different. I have a few basic ones that work for me.

1. I'm always in control- I choose the chica not the other way around
2. Be willing to walk away from a bad deal. It's ok to say no
3. Drink in moderation
4. Everything out of her mouth is a lie
5. Play it cool and don't pull the trigger on the first hot chica you see. Patience

I try to keep it simple.

Bony, you got the right place to stay at. The chicas at HLH have a set houtly rate of $35 per hour for guests and they can be found in the bar area. There are always experienced fellow crt brothers there, but if there are none, a couple of blocks up the hill at the SL there will be


As far as chicas to. recommend from HLH to pop your cr cherry: Jasmine with long dark hair and walks around the bar with a mini skirt and no panties underneath, Karen, a real sweetie who has been there a long time and will give as big a workout as Jasmine will, washboard abs sammy and finally dark skinned Camilla. If there is a language barrier, the hlh bartenders will be glad to help.

Speaking of negoitating my understanding is the HDR is 24/7. Some other places I've been I've used the time to my advantage for example in Sosua if the club closes at 3 am I don't start picking chicas until around 1am because they are starting to get a little antsy hoping to close a deal befor the club closes. The same chica that was talking $100+ at 10 pm is down to about $60 or 50. " Some money is better than no money". Does that strategy work at the DRey?

The Del Rey is open 24/7 and has girls there 24/7. The price can tend to drop later in the night mostly after midnight but my experience on my last trip (Nov 2011) was that even at 3am they were less easygoing about dropping the price and I was still getting the normal 100 quote even as late as 4 am, but eventually walked out with one in the 60 dollar range. I have spoke with many who don't seem to share the some money is better than none attitude. Example being a cute little girl I was talking to about 3am in the Del Rey starts at 100, I counter with 80 and she laughs and explains she never gets less than 100. I tell her it's late I will go 80 or pass, she said 100 baby I'm going home soon and need to make money, one last offer of 80 and no go. Watched her get into a cab alone a short while later... I would assume to go home but who knows.

Wow Seawub I've heard the Ticas at DR were hardcore but damn that's pretty hard there. I have no problem paying a hot Tica a fair market rate but it's those 5-7s that want top dollar that P*ss me off!!

There is a large handful of hardcore ones, but $80 is typically very easy to get, and even cheaper most of the time if your patient. Not all of them are hardcore, I have had some really really good pulls out of there. Really only pulled one dud from there and while her service left a lot to be desired and there was some having to remind her we agreed to payment after in the room she was smoking hot and I was able to get mine which is what matters in the end. All but 1 of my top 3 work the Del Rey now that I think about it, and they are very easy going chicas and very GFE.

Ok now that's encouraging but I'm wary of the upsale. $80 seems fine and dandy but if she wants an additional $20+ for bbbj then Houston we have a problem. I guess that's why it's imperative to negoitate para todo upfront and pay after services. All good insight and points. I appreciate it, thanks.

Tony, your basic rules are pretty much right on. I don't think everything out of their mouth is a lie, just about 90% of it. Watch your wallet, camera, cell phone, tablet and/or laptop. Also, have plenty of vitamin V. C. or L. You are going to need it regardless of your age.
