1st trip to CR. I usually go to SE Asia so im already loving this 7 hrs door to door instead of 24 hours of travel time.
Going to cram as much info as I can from this site and maybe pick up a spanish word or 2.

Head over to the Hotel Little Havana for Happy Hour. 5-7pm--it was packed everyday last week. A very short walk from the Dunn. Although, wouldn't ask for directions at the Dunn....they may tell you to wait until dark and walk west.

You being in San Jose for the first time and all, talk to Boyd (the hotel manager at HLH). He can be very helpful with direction and advice. Ask him especially about negotiating with chicas. Definitely worth the price of the 2 for 1 drink special.

You can meet CRT members anytime at the Sportsman Lodge--Breakfast, lunch, whenever. Be sure to introduce yourself, some of the fellas can be shy.

Oh, yeah, and be sure to tell as many CRT members as possible when you will be heading to the Del Rey/Blue Marlin for the first time....they will be happy to escort you.

I know its not a board members hotspot but i tried 3 other places and they were all booked.Its close to the action and has a good workbench

Mr M , I will be there if you need someone to show you around. I have a problem sleeping in and normally go for walks in the morning. If you want. Just go to Hotel Little havana and ask for Jason or Chuck Norris. Or just PM me.

Well the Prez lost my business & I loved the place, I stuck with them despite the previous limitations. But they don't want the 25 or so room nights a year I spend in SJO so I hang my hat elsewhere.
