This year I made 3 trips to Costa Rica. First week of last April, July and 2 weeks in November over Thanksgiving. It broke up the year perfectly for me and those months fit into my work schedule as well. Today Delta sent an e mail with a special fare of 299 round trip from atlanta so I grabbed it. I purchased my ticket today and the dates are from April 3 - April 14. In my haste I did not check the calander and was unaware that Holy week and Easter Sunday come early in April this year. My question to those who have been there during this time is, will I be alone there. Please advise me on the activities during Holy week. Will there be any working girls at all? Are the Del Rey, SL and MPs open then? It is really a moot point now, I have already bought the non refundable ticket and those dates are all I can fit into my work schedule until July. I just wanted to know more or less what to expect. I have several contact numbers, guess I could make some calls and schedule a rendevous or two if I have to. Please give me some info guys. buddy, if I were you, i'd looking into maybe having them give you credit for the tickets. You might have to pay a rebooking fee, but I think thats a better option for you than sitting at the SL bar alone twiddling thumbs.

A buddy of mine made the error and went down during Semana Santa, and well, lets just say he came back pretty disappointed, almost like he never wanted to go to CR again.

I almost bought a ticket for the same week and then I RTFF. People have said don't waste the money. Good luck with the rebooking of the flight.

Holy Thursday and Good Friday are also official holidays in CR (they take Easter seriously in Latin America) and the country pretty much shuts down then. During the week I believe the girls are with their families and the families themselves head to the beach. You don't want to be there then for mongering unless you have phone numbers of favoritas and/or novias. Hope you have other activities planned.
