I was doing some searching and discovered AA has some kind of special going on, I found a fare of $480 from my home airport to SJO; one-stop through Dallas to and back, night arrival in SJO (I'm not in the Northeast or Florida, fares to SJO from my home airport are usually $750 and up). Decided this was too good to pass up, so grabbed it. I have an 8-night trip already scheduled for Dec. 8-16 (courtesy of 35,000 Delta SkyMiles+$114), so I kept this one short as a little bonus trip. I'll be at the Amistad as usual.
