Hello all,

I'm hitting San Jose for a few days to meet visa requirements here in Panama. I'd love to hook up with some peeps that know the ropes.

I've been all around (Thailand, PI in the 80's, various other red light districts around the world, etc), know all (well, most) of the scams, and I'm not worried about the usual newbie stuff.

But, I'm flying solo and I know it sucks to be somewhere like CR by yourself

Plus, I really do want to get out and check out the various places you guys recommend, and doing so alone is pretty stupid. My general plan is this:

Stay at the HDR
Drink a lot
Get laid a few times

I'd probably never need to leave the DR but hey - why not look around a little

Offtopic: I've read a lot about the Sportsman's - is that better for actually sleeping, wasting time, etc, than the DR? I'm guessing it is.
