Post subject: | Couple of quick ones, (questions that is) |
I've recently stumbled onto this site and I am excited (to say the least) at a destination such as CR that I never even knew existed. Of course I was privee to the more well known locations (amsterdam, Thai, etc.) but costa rica has caught my imagination. To cut straight to the point I'm planning a trip as soon as I get a chance, (late may/mid-june whenever I finally become a free from my current... obligations). Anyways I've signed up for the VIP section, checked out some of the vids and photos just to get a better feel for the town and I have to say I'm a bit worried about fitting in with you all. I'm a bit of a novice (mostly state-side) and from what I can tell I am quite a bit younger than the average member. My question therefore is will someone in there early-mid 20's be able to have a good time and mingle with the lot of you, everyone sounds extremely friendly and all just a bit, curious. Second question: I can only guess that late may/mid-june is probably into the rainy/down season for CR, will that hinder my prospects and my fun or will it just lead to better selection/ratio? Thanks in advance this is a damn great website/forum. |

Welcome. To answer your questions: 1. No problem. 2. No problem. Suggestions for you in the meantime: 1. READ EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE. 2. LEARN SOME BASIC SPANISH. What else is on your mind? |

ExSoldier, First of all, welcome to the board. Second, thank you for your service to our country. Age ???? Don't even worry about it. You'll do just fine. Read as much as you can between now and your trip. There's a lot of useful / important info in the Newbies Section. Members usually meet for happy hour at the Blue Marlin bar around 5 pm each day (at the tables by the windows facing the Monkey Bar). Mention CRT, and any one of us will be happy to shoot the shit with you, and let you buy us a beer! Rainy season, shmainy season. Don't even worry about it. If it rains too much, just stay in your hotel room and screw some more! Don't let the weather keep you from making a trip down. Read, read, read....... and then READ some more. You're gonna have a great time. Don't even make too many plans ahead of time, because chances are good that your plans will go to shit as soon as you get there anyway! There's going to be many members down there over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. That'd be a good weekend to go and meet a lot of the goodfellas. Again....welcome to the board. Mikey-B |

You won't have any problems. Most of us are old men. If you were 22. Who would you rather screw. old women or young hot latina's? They will want you. I think we might be jealous. And you might get a couple of free-bee's. Be save though and don't go out at 1am drunk and want to fight. Look for some CRT BRO's and ask ?'s. And read everything. Down load the maps and you will know the city before you get there. There is only about 250k in SJ. It is a small place. |

Welcome to the CRT! I would suggest that you Private Message the member who's handle is "MONEY" ...he's young, a serviceman, and he's got the flava for da honeys. You may want to see when his next jaunt is to CR. I don't know if you can keep up with him though...I know 90% of us couldn't. |

Im 27, age has never been a factor, except for me having 3-5 sessions a day, compared to some of our older gents that go maybe 2-3. ![]() |

Thanks guys for the quick and reasurring responses. I'll be sure to post a roll call as soon as I lock down the dates for my trip. Unfortunately my "freedom" date has been pushed back so I'll have to adjust my plans accordingly. -EsS |

Post subject: | These guys are lying to you |
Ex, Man, I hate to see this happen to a nice guy like you, especially since you're risking your ass to defend our country against Al Queda and all... First, if you're under fifty, these guys are brutal. You'll be forced to dress in women's clothing and serve hors d'oeuvres on your knees to the Elders. Then there's the sick "secret" rituals involving a she-goat and a jar of peanut butter... not pretty... You'll become the Elders' boy-bitch, and while it will feel like you're being accepted, everyone will be laughing at you behind your back. Rainy season? You have no idea, troop. It's so wet down here that we have to use rubber rafts, canoes and kayaks just to go from one bar to another. The supply of women is there, certainly, but the rain causes a very unpleasant, smelly mold to grow on the skin of the ladies. It's like jungle rot, only worse. I saw a little beggar K*d trying to breathe through an improvised snorkel as the waves swept him right past Morazan Park and into the arroyo. It's ugly, soldier. Furthermore, you've just been bilked out of thirty-nine bucks. None of the responses on this forum are from real guys. They're all computer-generated. It's all a lie! ![]() ![]() ![]() Naw...just kidding. Welcome to CRT! Do read everything you can, then feel free to ask questions. Yes, we're a friendly lot, ranging in age from around 22 to over 65. Some of us are active military,, many of us are ex-military. We've got Korea era vets through first Gulf War vets. Most of the guys here are really terrific human beings. I of course am not among them, as I am a winking sphincter, as you can see from the first several lines of this post. I look forward to getting to know you, as I'm sure we all do. This is a brotherhood. Kind of like your squad, but minus the sand, body armor, improvised explosives and Arabic. Again, welcome! ![]() |
