Will be in CR in the Spring. Will girls from the Blue Marlin let you take pictures of them, and if so will there be some extra charge? Also, I may be traveling with a few business associates that I would just as soon not be privy to my activities. I'll probably be in the Presidente. Do I have to actually walk in and up to my room with the girl, or can we arrange at the BM to have her meet me at the room a half hour later? Any innovative suggestions on this??

Welcome to the board dratoll3.

All of your questions can be answered by doing a search on the board. These subjects have been discussed ad nauseum.

Do a search, and if you can't find what you're looking for, come on back, and we'll answer your questions.

Again, welcome to the board, but now READ READ READ !!!!

Dratoll3,
Welcome to CRT.

Since your questions are somewhat unique and a little obscure you might not find the answers readily so I'll answer them for you.

The BM (Blue Marlin) is the bar in the Del Rey hotel. It's actually just one corner of the main floor of the hotel. All of the girls are "independent contractors". Thus they make their own deals on photos or other services.
As with anything negotiable, YMMV.

The Hotel Presidente requires all working girls to be escorted in. They then show their ID (cedula or passport) and are either entered into the database (if it is their first time there) or checked for previous problems. You can have one arrive and phone your room but you'll have to go downstairs to sign her in.

You are also allowed only 1 female visitor at a time.

Now if there are any other questions just use the search function at the top of each page. If you still can't find what you are looking for come back and we'll be all too happy to help.

Thanks for this information. One follow-up. Were I to have a room right in the Del Rey, would these same rules applye (i.e. having to sign her in at the desk and escort her to the room)

Yes. Security will take her cedula and write down her name (for your protection). Then they'll add $10 to your room charge. It can add up!!!

This could be an issue if you are using the company expense account, no?

Would this be listed as "guest fee"?

Nope. Actually, they're pretty discreet about it. If memory serves, they itemize it as a "room upgrade" or something like that. The 1st time I saw my HDR bill, I laughed at the way they itemized the charges.

On a similar note.
My December MasterCard bill shows:

Restaurante Millenium
Laztour Emp E Particip
Asian Flower Massage
Shiatsu Massage
Princess Massage
Comercio Evidence
Rio De Janeiro 108

The 3 massages were in Las Vegas.
The first two were Termas in RIO.
The last two were love motels in RIO.

Sort of shows you who looks out for their customers and who doesn't.

For those scoring at home:
Asian Flower offered full service for $170. She threw the pillow on the floor so we would have more room.
Princess offered HJ and allowed roaming hands for $100.
Shiatsu she chewed gum throughout the session, offered NOTHING extra and still asked for a tip!
Of course the termas (4X4 and Terma 65) were FS (zowie!).
The participating garota at the love motels can be seen in the VIP photos of "Ladies photos from all over the world". She's the brunette in the blue t-shirt.
As usual, YMMV.

Sorry, for hijacking the thread. I always like to share info where I can.

on several occasions when i was too hung over and/or too lazy to get dressed in order to walk downstairs to check a chica i had invited over what i did was ask the Hotel Presidente employee who called my room to bring her up to me, they had no problem doing so... don't forget to tip for this service. i have a non-working novia in CR and all the waitresses in News Cafe know her well, so i always have to sneak other chicas up to my room.
