I travel to CR but company puts me up near the airport. Otherwise, I stay in Cartago while working.
Any action to be had near the airport?

Thanks,

Tango India and Atlantic Club (strip clubs with on-site activities) are in that area. Also Fiesta Casino might have some freelancers.

Lots of working girls live in Alajuela which is close to the airport. Try a local bar there and see if you can find them on their day off.

Disclaimer: Its a shanty town and I can't speak for safety. Beware that their novios might be around.

You are better off paying the $12 cab ride to the gulch.

Alajuela is hardly a shanty town. Sure there are poor areas there as there are in San Jose, Cartago or Heredia or most any city in CR.

There is a thriving centro area in Alajuela with bars and restaurants where you might find some local action but it is not as wide open as San Jose.

If you are in the airport area you are better off taking a cab to the gulch rather than Alajuela but to call it a shanty town is inaccurate and disingenuous.

I have been to a chicas casa in Alajuela, it is definitely not a shanty town. Hell, I live in Ft. Lauderdale and we have our "Shanty town" here as well.

Sparky lives on a floating shanty. :)
(Sparky don't you EVER check your PM's?)

An amigo went to a couple Tico bars in Alajuela last year that had some working girls, but I do not know the names or location...
