This is a really dumb question. For the places that don't have doormen/and or visible owners who do you show your card to?

I have mental visions of walking through an unattended doorway to some place and waving my card maniacally around in the air until the band leader notices me and strikes up a festive march, while scantily clad beauties throw rose petals at my feet. Sadly, I don't think it works that way, so what's the usual practice?

At a massage place give your card to the chica when you pay.
Same at a restaurant.

I do not know for sure at a strip club but I think it is when you enter and are asked for a door fee.

When I go to one of the VIP discount businesses, I always show my card beforehand. This way there won't be any confusion when it comes time to pay the bill. When making a reservation with a hotel that honors the card, I suggest mentioning that you are a CRT VIP member, and ask them to quote you the discounted room rate.

ROFLMAO

At strip clubs show your card to the doorman. At restaurants, hotels, MP and other venues always show your card and request the CRT discount to the first person you encounter. If they seem confused ask for the manager and make sure the discount will be honored. This will avoid confusion when the bill comes.
