Post subject:  Depressed upon arriving back in US

Man guys,

I knew it was going to hit me but DAMN! I feel really depressed since I've been back in the US (one week)...I went to Zona Blue and had a great time, then hit up Del Rey. I hooked up with a girl there that took me out to party in El Pueblo...then I hit it that night for Free.99...then I left SJ and went Jaco for the week. When I returned we met up again at Del Rey, and I hit it again for 2 nights for FREE.99...Damn it was the best I've ever had, but now I feel really depressed about being back here. I'm trying to plan my next trip out and maybe buying an investment property too. How do I deal with this monkey on my back?

Man, I feel you.

I've been back since September 20, and I'm still in the dumper, depression-wise.

You know you've got it bad when you get hard every time you overhear a woman speaking Spanish.

You know it's the post-C.R. blues when you look at a really hot gringa and ask yourself, "Why bother...?"

You know it's the C.R. Withdrawal Blues when you begin to figure your net pay in colones.

But there is hope, my young friend. There is always hope.

1. Read CRT every day, no matter how pointless and or mundane the postings for that day may seem.

2. Start shopping for travel arrangements for your next trip. Hell, go ahead and make travel arrangements for your next trip!

3. Masturbate frequently. Watching the hotties on Univision and/or Telemundo can help.

4. Sign up for a local community college Spanish course. Deliberately ignore the pretty young gringas who populate such classes. If one asks you out for coffee, politely refuse in Spanish.

5. Study a $100.00 bill carefully, repeating "no cien" over and over. Look at old Ben Franklin's face and realize that bill can get you two hours at ZB...or nearly five at Oasis.

6. Masturbate frequently. Listening to Shakira records can help.

7. Masturbate frequently. Did I already write that?
8. Work on your fitness and physical conditioning, so you can be hard and ready for your next trip. Masturbation does not count as exercise.

9. Make a list of every gringa you have ever wanted to bang. Then make a list of reasons why each does not measure up to a tica, nica, pica, frica, colombiana etc. etc.

10. Take on a second job, so you can save more money to take more trips to Costa Rica.

11. Call local *******. When each gives her price, laugh loudly and proclaim, "I can date an escort in Costa Rica for a tenth that amount!" and laughing maniacally, slam down the phone.

12. Masturbate. Looking at some of the sexier pics in the Gallery can help.

If you follow Doctor ciego's prescription, your next trip will happen before you know it. Stay healthy, stay busy, and set your sights on a return trip.

BTW, The Costa Rica Withdrawal Support Group meets every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. B.Y.O.Kleenex.

Excellent prescription Doc Ciego...

I will have to try out that method myself as I just returned on November 13th and do not return until February 4th.

I will laugh at all of the 300 an hour girls in Vegas on my upcoming business trip.

Hope to meet you at the Super bowl party

Wise words from a wise ciego...

You can also say "Ay Dios Mio!!!" whenever you think about your tica nica or colombiana...divine intervention always help.

Pura Vida!!!

Post subject:  Windows System Sounds

Another thing that can help is to obtain recordings of chicas saying fun things in Spanish, then applying these sounds to Windows system events:

Start up: Ay, Papi!
New mail alert: "Necessito tres cientos dollares, porque mi mamacita esta enferma..."
Critical error: "Cien dollares"

Like that.... :D

All kidding aside, simply staying focused and busy until your next trip will certainly help. Along with masturbation...I may have mentioned that.

I think you'd better take this up with Hand-Solo, how do you think he lost that 30 pounds?

I was told if you sweat while masterbating it is considered exercise.

Book your next trip. And sweat.

Damn man...I 'm in the same boat. I keep thinking if I go back, then when does it stop??? It's like a drug addiction. But I don't care.. I LOVE THE NANA.

It only gets worse so be careful. Most of you guys take it as kind of a joke and I understand that. But, time always tells the truth. Sit back and watch. But, in the meantime, be careful.

Right Dapanz... but if we didn't treat it with a dose of humor, we'd all be sitting here in the States, drowning in our own tears.

Fook! I MISS COSTA RICAN POOOOOOOSEEEEEEEEE! (shouting intentional)

It's not the same, but I entertain myself by emailing with chicas from the last trip, always seeming to be just on the verge of sending them money, then my cat gets sick or something. I have even given some my actual phone number, and have received non-collect calls! It helps a little to hear sexy spanish, and masterbate....
