I don't think there are any that do. But I don't think it would be a good idea if you did find one. It could be a set up and you could find yourself in a bad situation. You don't want to be surprise with you pants down by the boyfriend or just a group of guys.

Try one of the cheap by the hour hotels.

Check her into the Hostel with you. They have private units there.

Del,
I don't know what policies they have at a hostel, but why even bother? Are they that much cheaper? (i'm assuming this is a cost-effective measure).

Get a room at Sportsmens or Presidente for about $50/night and you can bring as many girls back as you'd like. Only 1 at a time at Pres. At SL, you can have a 10-some if you'd like (hmm... )

I have not seen or heard of any girls that provide rooms. The only places that have rooms on-site are MP's and strip clubs. MP's are a good value, but not strip clubs.

Delmoral,

From a mongering standpoint, staying at a hostel will be a major inconvenience. You will certainly be OK as far as massage parlors go, but it will be a problem when you meet up with a chica in a place like the Blue Marlin.

Yes, some of the girls will have access to places that are rented by the hour, such as the Hotel Asia and other fleabag hotels, but you should try to avoid this. I think you would be wise to re-think your lodging plans.

I saw 4 Hostels in the Amon area. Sharing starts at $9 and a unit for yourself was $18. One had a pool.

I was trying to get the full effect of travel in CR...so I was going to chose a Hostel for my 1st two nights then I'm heading to Jaco for 6 days then back to SJ for 2 nights where I'll be at the Don Carlos Hotel...

Do you guys have any experiences with this hotel or should I just book at the Presidente for 4 nights...

The Presidente is fine.

Delmoral,

The Hotel Don Carlos is a very nice, well run hotel. However, I think you will find that the management will not appreciate you bringing a female guest back to the hotel with you. When I stayed there, they told me it was not permitted, and I could understand why. When you go to the hotel breakfast in the morning, you could very well encounter a group of 8th grade eco-tourists from Atlanta, Georgia or wherever. This is typical of the type of clientele that stay there. I suggest you stay at a more chica friendly hotel.

Delmoral,

Hostels do not like you bringing girls back late at night. I would say use the MP arena then you don't need a room or if you want to play at Hotel Del Rey you can go to The Morazon Hotel 1/2 block away & rent a room for $20 for an hour or two.

If you will check my MP's and bars list in the MP section there are any places both MP's and night bars that have rooms on site. That is where I go for almost all of my hobbying. You have lots of options even if the hostel isn't girl freindly.I would add variety to the trip.I am going to check on one of the hostels that has private rooms myself for future trips. It looks good on the web site and very reasonable. The former Farol Rojo a closed MP rents short time rooms now very reasonable and they are quite nice.It may limit you from picking up girls at Del Rey but the best is to be found out of the gulch anyway.rbc100

Wouldn't Hotel Nuevo Johnson http://www.hotelnuevojohnson.com/ be a better option?
If it were me, I'd stay at El Presidente or La Gran Via all four nights.
