Just joined CRT as VIP. 53 yr. old experienced hobbiest but new to CR. Looking for a gang to go around with...who know the parties, the best joints etc.

My plans: Arrive in SJ on Oct. 22. Check out party at SL. Where to go for the inaugeral evening? Plan to go to a hoppin' coastal city (Jaco?--what would you recommend?) for a few nights and spend the last three back in SJ [October 26-29].

Just an ole guy lookin' for paradise and a damn good time!

Nadeel

Welcome aboard!
Your best bet would be to RTFF, and you'll be ready to enjoy CR.
About your "inaugural evening", just stop by the Blue Marlin for Happy Hour, and I'm sure that if you're a nice guy, you'll find a few gentlemen there who will point you in the right direction.

Lookin' for paradise and a good time is fine, but calling yourself old is not :) I'm close to your age (I'm almost 51) and I don't feel old at all. So, change that attitute my friend, because once you hit CR, you'll feel (at least) ten years younger!

Hope to see you at the party. Have you downloaded a map from the "vip' section? I would reccomend that more than anything else. Also there are some pricing sheets in the same thread. I can not tell you anything about the beachs. I don't have time to go.
