Many hotels have some form of alarm clock in the room. Sadly, many people set the alarm for their own use but only turn off the alarm for the day when they leave. Hotels are not always full, and alarms going off every day and running for half an hour are quite irritating to those in neighboring rooms. Please turn alarms off when you leave.

Frankly I would rather have alarms going off in the next room than to be next to Ruffnutz and GR when they have their fivesomes. I think the noise would be less intrusive but also much less entertaining.

Veelee.....

Good point. I agree. I encountered this same annoying problem on my last trip.

Veelee.........this is a good point, but I believe it should be directed at the hotel staff you are staying at. A well run hotel should train its' staff to check the alarms as they do a final clean & inspection.

if you are staying at a dive.............you get what you pay for!

The last thing I am worried about as I am hurrying to pack and make the airport is checking the alarm clock!

Sorry but I had to respond! :P
