Evening Guys....
I want to bring this to your attention and get everyones feedback before we make a decision on to which way to go here.... Obviously we want to do not want to be a board of censorship etc.. so we will put the question to everyone in lieu of a decision...

Recently there has been some feedback coming out of CR about several photos of ladies posted INSIDE GENERAL BOARD SECTION posts....

Let me pose the dilema here...as this is not a way for us to promote VIP membership but to protect ourselves from things that we can not control. Photos that are posted in the VIP section can obvioulsy only be viewed by our VIP members... I can say without question that our vip members do not go and show the girls in CR the VIP site where they can see he over 200 pics of the ladies we have met and expirienced..

On the other hand... There have been a few posts that were completely innocent and were not meant to cause any one person or group of individuals harm.... Inside them were photos.. that we allow to be posted inside the post themselves...

Fortunately for us Our site has become very popular and it is being reviewed my many out there.. On the other hand that leads us to the isuse in question although we follow the letter of the law, there are many out there who want to do us harm and will do anything to make us look bad.. Show ladies in particular hey" look your pictures on the web.. etc...."

So here is our dilema.. Do we ask that you not post photos in the general section and be labeled censors or do we allow the situation to fester and maybe cause a greater problem later...... I ask for all board members to chime it here as the picture posting has always be a touchy subject, but protecting it in the secured area at least keeps the general public from having easy access.

I guess I can put in my 2 cents worth on this mattter. Since there are quite a few of the adult web sites out there and most of them seemed to have the same basic format concerning the posting of the pictures, and I think we should follow that format.

That format consists of having all the pictures of the ladies posted in a paid membership area or as we call ours (VIP) area. All members should be strongly encouraged not to post any pictures of the ladies, unless the permission was given, in the general section of the postings. This would prevent the posters from getting into trouble with the ladies and the ladies' pictures from being view by everyone in the world...especially the minors. So...I think that it would be in the best interest of this board not have pictures in the general section of the postings.

As for the Posting of pictures in the VIP area...right now I have no problem with that because the pictures are not view by everyone in the world but only by selected members of the board who had paid membership. I look at it similar to as I am sharing pictures with friends and acquaintances by emailing them to those who wants to see them. I would hope that VIP members keep the pictures in the VIP area and not post them all over the internet for everyone to see.

I agree that the photos should remain in the VIP area. Sorry if I violated that rule with my "Halle Berry lookalike" photo in the thread marked VEGAS (Of course she would probably appreciate the publicity). Feel free to delete it if you haven't already.

I am a member of another site (very private) and have been a member of at least 5 other sites in the past. Some required a paid membership and others did not.

Photos are a very touchy subject and statistics have proven that some people pay ONLY to see the photos. Keep them under lock and key.

And while we're on the subject of Photos. The VIP section is getting somewhat 'busy' with photos. This would be a good time to come up with a way to organize them. How, you ask? I dunno. Up to you.

Also could someone from Admin add a note in the VIP Lounge when new photos are added? Then I don't have to check 3 or 4 times a day (hee, hee).

I agree with all the above also. Keep the pics in the VIP

Vip only seems reasonable to me.

Post fotos in VIP only, it's the smart thing to do.

I don't think good old enrique has any grounds to complain about anything around here. In fact, newbies DO have a say. Non-paying guests naturally have much less. The vast majority of the information on this site has always been available absolutely free to anyone who simply registers or even to those that just show up as anonymous guests as I'm sure he is well aware. I'm sure it hasn't escaped the attention of most people reading this thread that he hasn't signed up (yet), as you have, and paid the nominal membership to help support this board (his post strikes me as kinda nervy actually). So he really has no right to complain that some of the site has been reserved for 'members only" regardless of our reasons.

Of course keeping naked photos out of the sight of minors and trying to at least be somewhat more discrete about who can see chica pictures (many of whom are more concerned about their families seeing them than they are about potential customers) are valid reasons enough for restricting photo access. Additionally, if the admins want to retain some site features as incentives for visitors to join, that is not at all unreasonable either, given all the free content. Hopefully, if supporting all the freely available content and being able to benefit from all the group discounts are not enough reason to join, perhaps restricting photos to paying members might sweeten the pot enough for the few remaining tightwads to join.

Now you on the other hand have raised a perfectly reasonable question. It just so happens that there is already a place where one can go to get the type of photodocumentary info that you mentioned. However, it, along with the members only rollcall calendar, is yet another oft ignored benefit reserved for VIP members. Just go to the VIP forum section and look for a thread called SJMap Update. It provides a link to a map of downtown SJ with a legend describing most of the business mentioned on this board. Not only will this let you know where everything is located in relation to everything else but when you click on the various map icons you will get a pop-up picture of that establishment.

Prolijo playing devils advocate here why would minor even come here? I mean this board is not for minors period. Frankly i think its more valid that photos arent posted in those sections because you never know if one of those chicas is lurking on the board and if they stumbled on their picture there then all hell would break loose.

Who the Phuck cares what the reason is? My point was that someone who is not a paid member of the board has little grounds to complain about things not being accessible to him no matter what our reasons. Anything they can get off this board for free (and there is a ton of stuff that is "free") is essentially a gift.

Pictures of girls should remain in V.I.P. only.

This is not censorship, it's simply administration.

Censorship would include policies that determine what types of photos are permitted, level of nudity etc. Simply restricting the photos to a paid area makes sense for all the reasons already given in this thread.

And besides, there is a need (sorry Cocqui) to restrict the photos from the view of minors, who can and will access the site, but who would have a much harder time getting a V.I.P. membership.
