Stayed in the Taormina, pretty nice hotel. Ladies hang out at the bar area and it gets busy at night. If its slow the ladies Uber/taxi to another hotel. $12 guest fee First time in CR and a long time member on this site. Finally went and its pretty good. The city kinda sucks, traffic is bad not driving there! Uber is pretty cheap getting around the city. Walked to the Rey and the Sportsman. The Rey was open but casino was being remodeled. The Sportsman seems like a pretty nice pace, I will stay there next time. Havana around the corner seemed pretty dead. I think the Dunn is no longer guess friendly. Didn't see anything going on there. Met some interesting people there on vacation and local gringo residents Had alot of fun! Jack |

I'm planning a first time trip in September. Why would you stay at Sportsman Lodge next time? |

That’s where you want to stay on your first visit. American prices, more professional women type, but you will be more comfortable. |
