Looking for normal nightclub (not strip joint) where the local population goes to dance. If there are free lancers there (like insomnia in Pattaya) then even better. I was told hotel California by my hotel receptionist but it was dead, a strip bar across the road (Wednesday night). I am here for 3 weeks so would like to check out the local scene. |

Head up by the San Pedro mall area. Check out Jazz Cafe, Bar Vyrus, Grammy’s Karaoke, lots of bars in the area up there and lots of female college students. |

Thanks - I will look them up as tonight is Saturday night I asked my receptionist who looks like a very cool fun guy who would know all the happening places He told me all these places will be 'lit' tonight: * antique (#1 recommendation) * venue (#1 equal recommendation) * others: la conche (pu$$y in Spanish), la cali, yes..Teatro He said in teatro you pay 10k for entry (14-16k for VIP) and its open bar  Others charge a lot less |

In San Jose, you will not find a place where you can dance with "normal" girls and working girls. Sotano is a great spot for live music and dancing to EDM and/or 80s music, depending on the night. Club Vertigo is the big EDM club. Bahama is a fun place as well. |

i hit a place with the girl last weekend called El Firea or something along those lines its in the same plaza area as a mini golf place in santa anna it was packed and good. 3 big rooms and 2 other clubs in the same plaza the place was packed. |
