I'm heading to SJ for my third visit in a couple of weeks. I've stayed at La Amistad and Castillo with the all inclusive in the past, so I've done my drinking there. Both of those bars are pretty quiet. This time I'm staying at the Taormina, which I assume also has a fairly quiet bar. If I'm looking for a place just a bit more lively, where should I go to grab a beer or 12? I haven't spent any time in SL. It seems like whenever I go into the DR, I'm walking back out with company fairly quickly.

Other than the ones you already mentioned. Taormina has a nice sports bar and always has some sort of game on. Two blocks away is Little Havana where you can enjoy a beer. Around the corner from Little Havana is Poas where many ex-Pats gather for drinks. These bars are all within a short walking distance from your hotel.

Don't forget Bar Poas or Malibu around the corner as well. Chubbs over by the Del Rey is also a good place to go.

Around the corner from Bar Poas is Malibu Bar down the hill. Formerly Theo's Malibu Bar. Not as many gringos go there now as when Theo owned it, but still a welcoming place with cheap food and drinks, Girls available at a pension next door. I would do a bar crawl to all of the places mentioned.

As Boynton pointed out those places all get 2 thumbs up from me. If you are going to venture up by Mall San Pedro, make sure you stop by the Jazz Cafe. You will need spanish and personality, and if you can dance, that helps too. I was able to score almost every time I went there, with a non working girl, just make sure you do not tell her where you are staying, unless it is the Taromina, even then I would just tell her Marriott in Escazu then take her to Ruta32 for 12 hours and 40.00.

I appreciate all of the replies. Some places I knew of, some I've never heard of before.

Is women's soccer/futball popular in CR? The World Cup will be in full swing while I'm there, which is the closest thing to a sport I'm interested that's still being played this time of year.

HLH Has a happy hour type deal in the afternoons like around 3 pm to 7 pm, best around 4 to 6, it's a smaller version of HDR and SL, girls can be visited with in the rooms there or taken back to your room.

Last I was there, Andrea, Melisa and Valeria were good choices, a couple other hotties are seen there often.

Food is not bad, besides a bar, they have tables, some big comfortable chairs, food and access to cigars...

Had a mediocre session there last time I was in town. Was pretty quiet at the time, but I plan on giving the happy hour a try this time around. I think I may have show up too early.

Things change and chicas come and go, but Andrea, Melisa and Valeria I can recommend. B4 4 pm, it can be a ghost town, so usually 4 to 6 pm is the busy time.

Guys could not figure out how to post my own question, so just piggy backing on his question, we are arriving to San Jose on the 29th July, yes it’s a Monday, staying for 4 days, is it worth going to hotel cocal? Being it’s weekdays vs weekend.

You should at least change your tag line to ร่านออนไลน์ instead of สล็อตออนไลน์

That way it reads "Online Sluts" instead of "Online Slots"
