My question, as a lifelong Dolphins fan from S. Florida, is.... Are the Jets and the Fins, doomed to another excruciatingly boring mediocre season this year, and will they continue to be each other's nemesis in the quest for the superior mediocre team in the AFC??? Which of them will catapult to 9-7, leaving the other humiliated with 8-8???

I'm very optimistic so I feel like the Jets are going to be a playoff bound team this year and I expect Sam Darnold to step up this year. He's already shown that he can sling it and has made his mistakes. He has a slightly better receiving core this year, better oline and of course the best RB in the league in Le'Veon Bell. The defense seems to have been bolstered as well. I see a steal in drafting Jachai Polite whom you should be familiar with if you've watched FSU last year. Last year we had almost no pressure in the front lines which has been reinforced now with an Aaron Donald clone rookie, Quinnen Williams and Polite. Our secondary is still something to be desired though. I also feel like Gase is a decent HC, he phucked us up last year pretty good without even having Tannehill. I think his second act as our HC should be fine. I'm predicting 9-7 or 10-6. Definitely Wildcard bound.

I don't know much about the Dolphins other than Kenyon Drake looks sharp. I don't know much about your receiver core but I recall Minkah Fitzpatrick to be decent. You also have Fitzmagic as your starter but I honestly don't see you guys as a contender this year especially with first time HC, Brian Flores. I honestly don't know about you guys so I'm gonna say 6-10 or 7-9 for you guys.

End of 2019 :

Patriots : 12/4 One, maybe two of the four from the Fins, Fins ALWAYS have their
number no matter how great they are and how miserable the Fins are.

Dolphins : 9/7 Still missed the playoffs...we're used to it...

Buffalo : 7/9 Why would anyone want to live there? Marv Levy spinning in his
grave...

Jets : 5/11 2019 won't be their year...but 2020 will be better. The Rex Ryan curse
lives on...

The constant texting is an attempt to get you engaged in an on-line conversation that will lead to a request for money. Or at the least, hoping to insure you call her the next time you visit. All the advice and your instinct are right, ignore it. She will move on to the next target.

I think this might have been it. I was just overreacting. She was already requesting money before I got on my flight! I have since just blocked her and everything seems fine so far.

Well then, on to another more pressing issue...

My question, as a lifelong Dolphins fan from S. Florida, is.... I dont know much about Costa Rican sharks but I do know the answer to your pressing question is a resounding yes to the mediocrity of the Jets and Dolphins.......I think both teams can only aspire to .500 mediocrity. Both might have flashes that will flatter them during the season but the end result will be the same-disappointment.....

I lived in Miami during the 80's, the glory years of Marino and Shula, we once knew greatness and glory...

They lost to Montana in 84. The real greatness was in the early 70's.

EVERYBODY lost to Montana, lol.

In '74 I was attending USF in Tampa and didn't give a ratsass about the Fins, lol.

I should correct myself, in the 80's, Marino was still amazing to watch, and Shula was terrifying to refs, lol.
