I've read over the newbie information. A lot of it i gathered before my arrival (today).

I'm in La Fortuna until Saturday.

Saturday thru Monday Quepos.

I didn't pre arrange any action so how do i find some LEGIT action here. Even if it means mingling with the local chicas...

I created a Badoo and I've already got several chats going. But all of these girls are in San Jose.

I'm here to hike... but i wouldn't mind having some fun and meeting some girls while I'm here.

Is it too late?

Lava lounge?
Anything in La Fortuna?

Your only prayer in La Fortuna is to ask a cabbie.

And then gawdknowz what he might have available...  :x

When I go there I always take a favorita I know and trust from San Jose, most guys I know who go there do the same.  8)

As far as I know, no MP's there, I looked in an escort ad forum that you can enter the city, nada there either.

Maybe enjoy culture, hot springs and nature, then come back right b4 your flight, bust a nut and go home...HDR always open...MP'S open at 10:00 am, SL worthy of attention noon to almost midnight, Good choices at HLH 2 to 7 pm...  :!:

Thx..
Yeah, Badoo was all Bullshit. Most girls in San Jose anyway.
A taxi driver gave me a number today... but i don't have service... i could fix that w a phone card but unsure of the merchandise.

Enjoying the nature as we speak. Saw a bunch of sloths today... hiked for a few hours. Tomorrow another tour. May go downtown later. You never know... May bump into a lonely local or lonely tourist.

Jaco Beach is about 30 minutes from Quepos i may make a stop there...

Use Whatapp, like everyone else. You can contact them from anywhere in the world for free! Phone #s listed right in their ads!

Loving La Fortuna... it's amazing.

I ditched Quepos... I'll be staying in San Jose...

It's better this way. No 6 hour transfers... no need for a 3 hour transfer the morning i.leave (Monday) from Quepos...

I'll take a tour to Manuel Antonio on Sunday.

I'll have Saturday and Sunday night in San Jose. First timer.
Tell me where to go and what to do!!!!!

Sportsmen's Lodge and Hotel Del Rey. (SL) chicas from apx noon to midnight, best times 4 to 10pm, apx. (HDR) 24/7, daytime girls are often easier, cheaper, less rushing, less cost.

Try to keep the paycheck for services rendered 40 mil or less, but if you see one that is amazing, you're still earning an American paycheck I suppose, pay the cien but with conditions. I always say "I'll pay you x but if you do these things well, I'll add y." Don't EVER pay upfront.

Make nice conversation b4 you agree to anything, get her vibe. If you detect an impatient cold fish, move on, try to find one sweet and friendly. Your statistical probability of finding such increases with Nicas, (Nicaraguans). Ask them where they're from, if she says Nicaragua, you may just have a good one on the line...

Hotel Little Havana, action usually between 3 pm and 8 pm, 4 to 7 usually best times, they have rooms, nice ones, you can rent by the hour or take one back to your hotel.

For maximum fun n wild n crazy times, stay at Del Rey. For nicer quieter rooms in a better hood with great food and popular place to hang, meet fellow mongers and swap stories, Sportsmen's Lodge.

P.M. "Pops", here, he sometimes does tours for new people and explains the law of the land.

Don't get real drunk in public. You either get ripped off, beat up or arrested or all 3 and you'll deserve it. Stay sober, stay safe. Don't talk to strangers on the street unless you want to shout in their faces STFU!!! in your most menacing pose...

When you arrive, announce here where you're staying and would like to meet fellow mongers, or you can strike up conversations at either SL or HDR with guys, many guys are down here by themselves, good chance you'll meet someone who knows the hood better than you and can recommend good places to eat and massage parlors to go to, Monica's and Relax are popular, sometimes you go and there's incredible beauties, sometimes you go and they all have ear tags and Jethro Bodine lunchboxes...

If you're pressed for time, better to scout HDR and/or SL and HLH, at least you have a better chance of finding hotties, They are all downtown easy walking distance. At night it's better for newbies to take uber or a taxi.

If you pm me, I might be able to meet you at SL, I usually go there for a fish sandwich Friday or Saturday, and some of my friends are there then so you could grill all of us, but I still run a small business from my home and sometimes I'm unable to get away.

Pops is usually more available than me, and I only can hook with people for an hour or so, he can spend time with you as a tour guide if you are pressed for time and want best bang for the buck.

Anyone else got anything I missed? :? :?:

TY So much for the info. I'm thinking SL Saturday afternoon/night.

I won't be getting drunk.... yeah it's just a bad idea. The people that do are just setting themselves...

I'm staying in Alajuela 10 minutes from the airport. Sunday tour to Manuel Antonio. I could even go that night when I'm done...

Saturday I'll arrive in around 12pm. So I'll do some sightseeing and then likely go in the evening.

Why do you ask to keep the paycheck for services rendered? Also, should i be asking them for some form of ID?

Thanks again brother.

Given your first time status, limited time, and the fact Semana Santa (Easter Week) starts Sunday, my input is ....

Start at SL, but if you don't see anything you like, taxi to the del Rey. The selection will be larger. Be prepared to taxi back and forth as needed. Although the two places are a very walkable distance, your first time status recommends a taxi. Uber is a little cheaper than taxi, but for ease, use those parked in front of the SL and HDR. Those parked in front of the SL are usually not red cabs, make sure you agree on the fare up front. Expect to be gouged for c2,000. Even with the red cabs at the HDR, agree to the rate up front. If you don't, they could "demand", c4000 at the destination. The red cabs at the HDR wont agree to a metered rate, they have waited their turn for a fare and aren't going to settle for a c500 ride.

Focus on Saturday night. You will find a day trip to Manuel Antonio, especially on a holiday weekend, is a mistake. The ride is too long, and the crowds are to large. You will probably ignore this advice. No problem, I would have too. You will get back late on Sunday, tired but happy. Chica crowd will be way down, only double what you will find back in pu*sy prison. Grab a beer at the HDR, see what is available, and scour the Airline sites for your return trip.

I completely forgot about Easter. But i have to squeeze Manuel in. I'll be really disappointed in myself if i don't make it. I've taken many of those long day tours before... so i can handle it. As long as it's not cancelled or i don't get there I'm good with that. No choice.

As for Saturday night I'll follow your advice and head to SL.

Yes, I'm taking a taxi everywhere.

TY brother

When the girls ask how long you are staying, tell them at least a month, and you will head off some of the sharks that think they can get away with murder since you are leaving in a couple of days.
