I'm looking for a trip to a monger place in early july for a three day weekend before I move to my new place and job and I was wondering if you guys can help me out in choosing a place that fits my budget but wont let me lose too much enjoyment either.

places I've looked into are:
CR
Tj
DR
Brazil

A big hit about this trip however, is that the plane ticket is part of my budget. I can probably go 500 over but I'd rather save that money for other things. I know I'm going to be sacrificing some activities with any place I go to but unfortunately my only available window is early july so I wont have time to add more to the budget.

CR is my first choice. Seems to have a happy medium between Chicas, lodging, food and plane ticket price. Won't be able to do jaco which is a bit of a shame but oh well.

DR seems cheap in terms of chicas and lodging but the plane ticket is the most expensive hit.

Haven't done too much research for Brazil. Plane ticket seems to be between DR and CR in pricing. Not sure how expensive it is in terms of chicas and lodging.

Tj seems to be the cheapest on all fronts but it also seems like there are less non-hobby things to do. My main focus on this trip are the chicas but I want some variety so I won't get bored.

Hope you experienced mongers can help me out. I need to get away for a bit!!!

Forget TJ, it's a hell hole's hell hole. I used to go with friends when I lived in L.A., we would get our rocks off and get the hell out.

If we decided for a weekend stay, we would cross the border back to San Diego and stay at a hotel there, then back over the next day. Not much to do there and cops are corrupt and thugs are everywhere sizing you up. Did you ever see the movie "Desperado"? it's like that.

Brazil is a thrill but it's gonna be expensive! No way, Jose! :!:

DR is cheap, but other than pounding, unless you're from up North and want to hang at a beautiful beach, there's nothing else to do there.

CR is your ticket! If you're on a budget, HDR or Morazon are cheap, safe and clean and at the center of attraction or close enough. Don't care for seedy locations? Spend a few bucks more and go to SL. :D

Plenty to do all day in San Jose, and many fellow mongers here will gladly hook up with you and show you the ropes if they're experienced, or explore with you if new like yourself, so you'll make some friends and get some poonage as well. :!: :D

La Amistad is not cheap but they include 3 real full meals a day, a great bargain and food is excellent. Local tourist restaurants ain't cheap. I think one or two other hotels do that, someone more knowledgeable than me can input.

Chica prices? A full hour in a good MP (Highly recommend Monica's, somewhat recommend Relax, look at about $50 to $55 an hour, propina included and usually sweet girls delivering full service. 506 is much closer and about $25 to $30 more, but no long walk if you're disinclined.

SL and HDR girls ask $100. If one you are encountering is Miss Costa Rica gorgeous, tall, au natural plump C or better and enthusiastically guarantee everything, say yes, no further discussion needed, but if not, ignore that request, $60 to $80 seems to be the norm for 1 hour. Some guys brag about the mutts they score for around $40 or so, if you're thinking that, stay home and fkkk your neighbor's dog, you'll be better off and she will be prettier...

Name of the game here is INTERVIEW and explain exactly what you want. Don't be embarrassed to describe your expectations, this is not your first prom date!!! :?

if you're including plane fair in that G, forget it, not happening. Take out the plane fare and spend the G, most vacationers here need around bare min $1300 to $1500 or so, just to cover slamming, food, a few drinks, tips, cab fares, whatever misc. expenses, hotel, airfare and guess what? The small stuff suddenly starts adding up rapidly.

If you're going to be spending big for plane fair and hotel, don't be cheap, you're going to ruin your vacation. Add another $300 to $500

Perhaps you could provide your general area of departure. If it's Florida or another Southeastern state, your $1K budget is more realistic (still difficult to pull off). GO TO CR! You'll need to have your entertainment centered around the MPs (suggest going to see Dayana at Pension Monica's). You will have to eat tico-type meals (excellent and inexpensive) and will be limited to 1session a day on 2 of your 3 days in Costa Rica. Stay at an inexpensive hotel (girl friendly won't matter because you can't afford to bring a tica home)... Something like HLH or Zona II...Take the bus from the airport instead of a cab or Uber. You have more time than money for this trip. It can be done. You'll still have a great time.

I assume you are thinking of Sosua and flying into Puerto Plata. If you speak a little spanish and do not mind a bus ride, you can save a fair amount of money by flying into Santiago (STI)then catching a 2 hour bus ride. You will need to double check your flight times though, as if you get in too late, you will not have a bus available and will need to spend the night. There are shuttles available but the round trip will cost your budget a decent hit and for a little more you might as well fly into Puerto Plata. The other way is fly into Santo Domingo (SDQ) and take a bus for about 6 hours.

If you get a Queen room at La Amistad and the all inclusive, which means all your food and alcohol drinks are included, you are looking at about $300 for two nights. You can walk to many pensions during the day, so you do not need to pay for a taxi. So add $300 to ensure you have plenty of entertainment (I figure you won't have 3 full days due to air travel requirements). If you can find airfare for under $400 you can do it under $1000. The controlling factor is really how much entertainment you want

Wait until you have more money to spend. Then do a week in CR down in the Gringo Gulch. You won't feel rushed or cheated. Your 1st time in CR mongering never goes as planned. Traveling and Mongering ain't cheap!

Great advice. the only exception I remember, wayyy back when, those of us in Ft. Lauderdale could catch a cheap Spirit round trip flight for under $300, leave Friday, return Sunday, be back at work with a smile on our faces Monday. 8)

We would go to HDR which was $65 a night, enjoy exploring cheap tico sodas, find a hottie at an MP in the daytime, not much drinking or gambling, and pull one from HDR in the evening, no need to go carousing all over at night. :x

Up the vater you go, get your sex n blo, send her down, next morning back on the town...

Estimate : $300 for flight, $300 or less for HDR, visitor fees and taxes included, depending on if we did a 2 or 3 day stay and everything else, around $400, sometimes lower, for poonage, food, misc, cabs, condoms, tips, whatever.
