Anyone got any tips? Or should I just leave it all in Costa Rica? My high blood pressure meds kinda look like Voigra, so I was thinking about bringing some home with my in my script bottle. What do you think? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

I brought Cialas, Vitamin B-12 injections and Testosterone injections and made no attempt to hide them in my checked baggage. No questions. |

Chances are if you are only bringing in "V" if searched they would probably just confiscate it and warn you but that is entirely up to the agent and his supervisor. I wouldn't put it in a prescription bottle that is showing intent. If searched say you weren't aware and hope for the best. They are mainly looking for the illegal drugs, coke, meth, etc.. Good luck! |

I carry generic viagra that I bought in Colombia between the US and Colombia and the US and Costa Rica in my carry-on and checked baggage. I have never been asked about them even when I have had to go through the extra security checks. I usually bring back about 30 pills when I return from Colombia. I leave them in the original boxes. |

I bring it to and from SJO in carry on, no issues and no script |

Long as your not trying to bring a full check luggage of it back, it will be a non issue. If you really worried though. The pharmacy between La Amistad and hospital pass the railroad tracks will write you a prescription for $10 I've done over 15-20 trips and I just leave them out in the open in my bathroom kit bag. Never had an issue with US or CR customs. |

This was a small concern for me as I have Global Entry and in the back of my mind I thought what if I get caught and it could cost me my status. So what I started doing is contacting Russ who is well known on this forum and he mails it to me in the U.S. for the same price as in CR. Takes just a couple of days to receive and then there is no worry. Russ has the C-store at the Taormina or is often found at the Sportsmans or can be contacted via this forum. |

Maybe I'm missing something, but unless you have so much Viagra that you can be accused of trafficking, how in the world would anyone know if you are carrying it? I have aspirin, melatonin, allergy meds and cold meds all in tiny travel sized containers (all OTC). If you're really concerned, put it inside a store brand aspirin bottle. |

Read an article just a month or so ago about a lady who was fined $500 for having a piece of fruit she received on her return flight as part of the airline meal into the U.S.. Do not try and figure out Customs and Immigration. What works 99.9% of the time can also backfire at any given time. If you have any contraband discovered during an inspection and yes one unprescribed pill is contraband they can drop the hammer on you. |

Fruit is a lot more dangerous...especially oranges and citrus fruits...because they could carry disease organisms. Hence the reaction. Viagra... not so much. |
