I'm staying at the Castillo and will partake in the all-inclusive greatest deal EVER! But, what should I keep in my room? Beer, wine, juice, soda, bottled water??? Obvs I'm trying to have something to offer any friends who want to party in my room. Has anybody had any issues using ice in drinks? Thanks. I will be at the Castillo March 1-5 and would like to meet a few more experienced players who can help increase the probability of an enjoyable visit by providing me with solid advice. |

I would suggest that you take a walk to the nearest supermarket; either the automercado near the Holiday Inn or the one on Avenida Central and stock up whatever you want for you and your guests. Alcohol is sold in the stores as well. The all inclusive is great, but before the bar opens and after the bar closes you have no options. I personally do not take advantage of the all inclusive drinks; I dont hoard the drinks, nor do I take portions back to my room for later. Water is available at the hotel and the ice is clean and no problem. |

I would keep a few beers and any liquor you drink in your room for after hours. If you have a date during the bar hours and eat / grab a drink with them, then you can order another to go. Pro tip: Make sure you plug in the fridge when you get there, they keep them unplugged ![]() |

In the past I've kept a bottle at the bar and have the bartenders pour, paying for mixers... and a bottle in the room... Both Castillo and Amistad bar staff can set you up with ice, limes and mixers etc to stock your fridge just ask... ill also purchase a couple bottles of beer to keep in the fridge... i forget the prices, but they are reasonable considering the convenience... just respect the place and staff and you'll find both of Matt's hotels will feel like a second home... as far as the ice, i havent had or heard of anyone having issues at amistad and castillo ive also brought a bag of hersheys miniatures and gum to keep in the room too and the girls tend to appreciate... nothing too crazy |
