MM3, my post in response to his post must have happened at the same time as yours so it never got posted, but it was essentially the same advice. And to prevent "soiling" the oats and other items, he might use a condom. |

Is that you McFly? Welcome to the forum 007- There truly is a bunch of great information For you here at CRT - it can be overwhelming, I understand and remember. You should take a read at the HOTEL & Transporationforums first - most threads talk about the chica friendly hotels and why members like and do not like each one. Good stuff. Than read a few trip reports, or jump right into the Massage Parlors, Strip Clubs, Escort threads. After you have your beak wet and few hours of fun reading- ask us/me more specific questions and I think you will get some very helpful and sincere replies. Good luck ![]() Cman |

Late October, a couple of points. (1) The green / rainy season is coming to a close but you can still expect a considerable amount of rain, especially late morning until early evening. Generally more rain in San Jose than the west coast beaches. white water rafting trips are awesome at this time of the year. (2) CR has adopted the gringo holiday Halloween. There are generally good parties hosted on different nights around the actual holiday. Last year the Sportsmens Lodge. the Del Rey, Bar Poas, Zona II and Theos bar all had something going on with the SL and the Del Rey being the most extravagant. There are a lot of good looking women, usually dressed up in very sexy costumes. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of guys and the bars are very crowded. I love October in CR but last year was probably my last Halloween. Just too many guys and way too crowded. This is just my personal opinion, I'm just a bit to old for all the crazy partying. If you do plan to go, anytime around Halloween, MAKE YOUR RESERVATION ASAP. The better hotels book up fast and I would wager that the Sportsmens is already booked the week before and a few days after the holiday. Regardless on when you go, you'll have a great time |

Thank you for the replys, even from the trolls. Soiling my oats is an old saying I got from the Bo Jackson book, Bo knows Bo. I'm bookin the trip this week and look forward to my first solo vacation. I have never had the chance to vacation alone before and I'm looking forward to it. I want to find some cool places to check out as well. I dont want to just sit in the hotel and get some good looking women. Where are some other places that are worth checking out on my trip |

Here's a start: Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific side Volcanoes: Poa's, Arenal etc. Rafting the rivers, should still be good. Fishing: Kinda pricey but, world class. Take one of the "all in one" tours, where you hit multiple spots in one day. Visit one of the hot springs. Zip lines, bungee jumping. Contact BM "Pops" Cool dude, no Bull shit and a wealth of information. Read as much as you can here. Then ask questions so you hit the ground running. phucking trolls..lol ![]() |
