Nothing wrong with being a newbie. We've all been there. Everybody poops. But lazy and not making a good faith attempt to find and read the volumes of info available here and elsewhere reveals laziness. Or maybe a belief you merit reply just special for you. Don't serve up the, "search does not work" bull puckey either. It's not 2001 and even with the aged tech running CRT, it works better than ok. Don't want to wear your laziness like a merit badge to show momma when you get home from summer camp? Ok, here are the questions not to ask. Is X hotel chica friendly? Is it safe to walk? How do I get from the airport to X? Do I have to pay the exit tax? Where is X? What room at X do you recommend? Are there chicas at X? Where can I get a massage, wink wink? I'm there on biz/with family where do I sneak away for some whoring? Is Jaco hot, how's the beach? What hours are they open? I prefer women who are/do X are there any around? Can I buy/should I bring X? Is a 3 some possible? I have ED or need to counter whiskey dick, where can I get boner pills? I use my passport to watch TV in different countries where can I watch X sports event? Any recommended escort sites? I emailed and did not get a reply and I forgot how to make a phone call. What should I do? Will my cell work? I don't speak spanish but want to take a total stanger with limited english skills on a touristy trip, thoughts? Where do I get a sim? Should I use backpage? I'm interested in cheap flights on Spirit, but i'm not sure if I know all the tricks necessary to avoid their extra fee's. Is there any info you have on traveling with Spirit airways you can share? |

I cannot disagree more with the idea behind this post. And I find the attitude in it off-putting. I've been wondering for a while now if this message board is dying. I only see a new topic on each board every few days. I've made several posts over the past 6 months where I'll be lucky to get more than 1 reply. I see several people like hotdogg with over a 1000 posts, which makes me think this board had activity in the past and has dwindled into nothing. There is a lot of content if you dig and dig into the past. But the content is quickly outdated. Businesses close and patterns change. If I solely used the search for planning for a trip, I might be shocked to find the Beatle Bar dried up by the time I got there. This website is NOT an up-to-date guidebook with everything you need to know. From personal experience, I read the posts and Member Discounts page hoping to visit the Surf Dogs Bar and Restaurant. Only to discover it had closed down several months prior. It is still listed on the Member Discounts page and has a sticky post post on the 'A Complete Listing of all CRT VIP Discounts' board, without any indication that it is closed. It has been 5 months since I noticed this. The value of this site is COMMUNITY. Meeting new people who share and interest in mongering. Learning new locations, techniques, and more from others. Making friend to chat with. The reason new members who haven't been around for 10 years post repeating questions is not because they are lazy. It is because they want to talk with someone. Make a connection. And feel confident that the information read is current. Maybe instead of making fun of the new K*D on the block who has all of the same wide eyed questions you had when this forum started, it would be better to befriend them. Answer the question and offer a welcome to the community. This will help foster growth in the community and make sure the forum continues to have enough traffic to stay open. And if you really don't like newbie questions, stay out of the Newbie board. |

Dear ositoDelNortre, A warm welcome to the thread. Thanks for taking the time to read the posts. Your thoughtful and well constructed contribution suggests you are willing to put in effort. I suppose there is some irony in that lazies won't bother to read this thread, which was offered somewhat in jest, but also somewhat not. I actually agree with many of your points. However, the guy asking about the chica fee at HDR is lazy, period. He's not posing a question as an attempt to spark social interaction. And having been around a bit I can tell you that the vast majority will run off and contribute nothing in return even if spoon fed nothing but kindness. The state of CRT... well that's a different topic entirely. Moderation of this board is near zero. So topically things are not contained to their rightful place.
