Post subject:  SJ or Jaco Beach
Hi all,

I am planning a trip to CR from 5/5-5/8 and thinking of splitting it between San Jose for two night 5/5-5/7 and then stay Sunday night at Jaco Beach before returning home on Monday

Is it worth going to Jaco if the purpose is just mongering esp on Sunday night?

During the day, I am planning to do the non-mongering touristy activities.

I would think you would need more time. That's a lot of travel for just one night in Jaco, especially on a Sunday night!

Since you are so flush, why don't you buy him a chica or 2 in Jaco??

He is there for a limited time & the travel may eat up most of his time. And don't give this BS about it being only an hour away. Anyone who thinks it is only an hour or 1 1/2 hr away (SJ to Jaco or back) starts their timer 1/2 way there and doesn't count packing up, checking out, waiting for ride, traffic, checking in, unpacking, etc., etc., etc.!

CostaReeker is spot on. Plus:

1. The rainy season has started (Central Valley and Pacific side). While this means good deals on rooms, it also means less gringos and less incentive for the Jaco sharks to come and feed.

2. Chicas go to Jaco to turn and burn as many gringos as possible and make mas dinero.

Add that to the travel time and a 3 day trip to Jaco is essentially a 1.75 day trip. Where the primary activity is at night.

Forget those $80 cheap skanks in San Jose (yuck), go for the $150 hotties in Jaco. GFE all the way.

Yes if the weather looks good.
But the Jaco chicas are mostly San Jose girls +Colombian sharks.
Do it ,you need to see HoCal.

Jaco is better imo at this point...if you have a few days SJ is good but you have to really move around the city to find anything good. They are out there just takes a lil bit more searching. HDR is hit or miss and most MP girls are not exactly 10s or 9s. You will spend more in Jaco but my theory is if your on vacation money shouldn't be that big of an issue...if your penny pinching stay at home or go to SJ.
