I will be just spending an evening/night in San Jose. Will be there between 3 PM Feb 24 and 4 AM Feb 25 in the morning. Just checking to see if people have opinions on where to stay between the two.

Looks like Taormina is more secure after 9 PM? Do we have good security in Zona 2 after their bar closes? Zona 2 has those Friday evening parties that sounds fun, toarmina seems more safe for bringing in late night DR girls.

I will be staying new Heredia between 21 and 24 and planning to stay in the happening area during my last night in SJ.

I read through a couple of girls like Luna who might be a good choice for an outcall, are there other girls that can reached via whatsapp for outcall. Otherwise I just plan to hit a massage parlor around 7 PM and then head back to the hotel...it just is going to be an 45 mins drive either way to hit a massage parlor - but as I am working - not much option between 21 and 24 unless I can get someone like Luna to visit me...

Both are secure after 9 pm, and it is easy & safe to bring late night DR girls to both.

Talk chicas first:

1. Many / most of the chicas that work in MPs, the HDR, and the SL are available for 'outcall' - usually with guys they've previously met and given their WhatsApp to.

Since many have families, etc. that may limit their when. This is the case with Luna ("mornings and by appointment").

2. Heredia is a ways away. Chicas aren't going to be crazy about the long taxi ride unless it is more profitable than their normal night.

A favorita that you are going to take to dinner and then TLN with? Another story.

3. You can also peruse Backpage. Some have had luck there, but it's limited.

4. There are MPs in Heredia. That's a link to one on Backpage Costa Rica. They'll be tico MPs. (Giatis VIP is another one - this is a link to where it is on Google Maps). Colones to gallopinto, a girl at a Heredia MP would come visit you at your hotel - if the hotel allows visitors.

What kind of hotel are you looking for?

Taormina is a standard hotel & casino - restaurant on site; nice lobby, etc. The fourth floor rooms are extremely luxurious hotel rooms with very nice towels, sheets, etc.

Z2 is very nice 'play' suites above an MP. The lobby is... stark? for want of a better word - and the stairs like something out of a noir movie! The suites are very, very nice, but I've only used them to 'play*' and never slept there. The only items I've ever made use of are (1) the showers and (2) the bed (okay, the toilet).

If I stayed there for several days, then the dance floors or the sex couches or the sauna might see some use. Overnight?

Have you considered the Hotel Castillo? You absolutely should.

If I am just overnighting in San Jose I have usually stayed at Taormina but from now on I think it will be the Hotel Castillo.

So, my recommendation is to decide what you want in a hotel room.

*Prior ownership used to let CRT VIP members use the suites for sessions if one was available.

Thanks MM3 for the great info. Money is not a big concern, willing to pay extra for the right girl. I am not looking for an all night fun - may be between 9 to 11 or midnight at the latest.

Ideal evening is to meet a girl in MP around 6:30 for round 1. Have dinner, enjoy the sights of Del Ray/or visit another MP around 8:30/9:00 and see if a girl would like to come back with me for a couple of hours back to Heredia. I believe most MP close around 9:00 and if I can do a take out for a couple of hours - that would be perfect.

Of course will throw in the taxi fare for the long ride back. The hotel I am staying is chica friendly - don't see any issues.

Also, thanks for the pointer to MPs in Heredia - if I am tired out and don't feel like driving to downtown and back, might give them a shot.

My party day/night will on Feb 24th where I plan to go crazy. Might even hit a couple of night clubs (alcazar and J/N) if I am not wasted. Plan to stay in downtown on 24th.

Will check out Hotel Castillo, there seems to be no online booking. Will send an email and check availability on Feb 24th.

Any of the three places will meet my needs - just planning to have a few drinks and a few chicks - hope they mix well together ...

there seems to be several options such as moulin rouge, VIP, etc in Heredia. Looks like they work out of a house, are these places safe? Not much discussion about then here as obviously most of the action is in downtown.

Heredia/Belen is much close to me for my first 3 days in San Jose...might atlease give them a shot if they are safe.

Hotel Castillo - book through Hotel La Amistad (e-mail or call).

Little discussion here about the Heredia MPs because most gringos are fixated centro and Cocal. Pops might know something.

I have no idea about heredia but I'm curious to find out. I'll be in San Jose next week for a few days if anybody wants to venture out and discover.

if you are going for your ideal evening it would seem to make sense to stay at Z2 since it is an mp and the girls should be right there for first pop purposes.
although the other places mentioned are walking distance of less than 5 minutes for even the slowest mongers to Z2 and new fantasy.
getting dinner np and DR np
would question whether or not finding a DR pro to go back to your hotel in heredia would be a wise choice.
guys w a lot more experience have had issues and a lot can go wrong
still, nothing ventured nothing gained but if you are going to combine alcohol or whatever just be careful
and chica proof that room!

you always have the option of a short time hotel, I would not go to Hotel Asia. Do a search for some threads in the Hotels section

I plan to stay sober Tue - Thu and get wasted on Friday. I think the best option is to just visit a good MP on weekdays and call it a night.

I have some of the senior posters here give recommendations on getting a local phone and see if some of the regulars here can give the number to a girl that does outcall/speak some English. Will share my contact details next Tue for people that are willing to share some of their chicas that are outcall friendly.

I would prefer a longer session with 1 girl (2-3 hours) rather than bang and go. I like a GFE experience and am good at giving massages and love to receive one as well. If I click with a massage girl and can take her out for a few hours after the session - that would be ideal. Can definitely throw in a dinner and provide taxi fare for her after round 2 at my place.
