Hey everyone,

Great info across the forum. I'm heading down in late July to Jaco, first time. I'm staying in a house a 15 minutes south. Seems like I'm going to have a hell of a time. I had a few logistical questions though:

- If I'm at a place like the Cocal, do the girls have a place to go there for the hour?
- Do they have a problem/charge extra to go back to a house thats 15 mins away?
- I'm looking for the 9+ types. Will they stay overnight? How much extra?
- Lets say I meet a few that I really like. If we exchange numbers, is it possible to get someone to hang out the next day?

I'm going down with a few friends and we have a sweet house. The pipe dream is to have a few girls hanging out at the house late at night or during the daytime. But this may just be a pipe-dream.

What Orange is saying is that the Cocal chicas are there to make as much money as they can over the time they are there.

One way is volume . A 15-minute cab ride x 2 is a half hour. As opposed to a 5 minute walk next door or downstairs. More time in transit = less time lining up the next $150 (her goal).

You pay them "enough" and anything is possible (spend the night, hang out). The question is what's"enough". In Jaco it's entirely different than San Jose. Why? Different customer base and different sales basis.

In San Jose, the majority of those looking for chicas at the various non-MP and non-strip club venues came there for that purpose. The majority are on a budget. And (in my opinion / observation) many HDR / SL / Taormina / Key Largo chicas are looking for 1 or 2 gringo clients per night - and it may take them 2-3 hours to get a client - if they find one.

In Jaco (the Cocal particularly) the chicas come with one purpose (in my opinion) - to make as much money as possible Thu-Sat (or whatever days). That means volume (at San Jose prices) or charging more (and volume).

Go to the Cocal, get a gringo, walk to his condo / room, get money - rinse, wash, repeat. No taxi ride to LA from the HDR, etc.

What attracted them to Jaco?

A different customer base. Initially the Pacific side sports fishermen - who drop big bucks of charters and condos in Los Suenos, etc. Then the bachelor party crowd, Lastly, the "10 seeker" mongers (because the 'hottest chicas' had swarmed to Jaco in pursuit of the sport fishermen and bachelor party crowd).

At first, the Jaco chicas could demand $100 for a short time from this customer base and get it, while in San Jose mongers were negotiating $60 and only newbies were falling for the cien. Then these chicas realized they were dealing with a procession of newbies and / or richy-riches that just didn't care.

The starter of $100 became $150, allowing negotiation down to $100 (if the chica was desperate). And I've heard $200.

These chicas have a continually refreshing customer pool. And they know it.

In San Jose, you swim with the muchacas. In Jaco, you swim with the sharks.

Yeah I totally get that money drives everything, i.e. overnight, or hanging our during the day etc... I was just concerned that if I'm a bit away, i.e. hermosa beach to the south, that a Tica wouldn't want to get in a cab and go there. As long as it's just a matter of cost I'm cool with that and can navigate it.

I read somewhere that if you pickup someone from Monkey, the now closed Beatle bar, etc, that they actually had rooms available for a fee. If I'm not ready to head in for the night, that would work for a quick hour...

Are there girls in smaller places like Hermosa to the south? I.e, will you just run into some day/night as well on the beach?

Just hang at the Cocal and you will finds chicas that will go with you, maybe not all but you will not have a problem. On my last trip I had a chica who wants $150 but will stay with for 4 hours so I think that makes up for the price.

I was at the Cocal last night, the hotel was full as was Vista del Mar. That means there were at least a hundred potential customers on site for the girls. It was a tough night in that it rained from about 7pm until 9pm. The quality was excellent with mostly 7s and 8s. There were in excess of 100 women there. You can tell that the peak of the season as far as women there has passed. As the summer wears on there will be fewer girls making the effort to go down because the number of customers will be on a steady decline until late November when the fishing improves. At 9:30 I brought my customer back to San Jose, to the Hotel Del Rey. We arrived at 11pm. It was like night and day. The girls at the Del Rey were 5s and 6s with many over 35 years old, fat and just tired looking. The best looking ones there would have been just average at the Cocal.

If you are staying at Playa Hermosa, expect to pay a little more for her commute time, and pay taxi fare. It is not any further there than it is to Los Suenos, so most will go, they will just want more to do it. As far as overnights and day action. Many of the girls are going to be there for several days and they spend their days hanging out and sleeping. Making an appointment for an afternoon date is something many of them would jump on. It would be a head start towards making what they consider their goal. Overnight, depends on the time of night you approach them. If they have given up on finding customers and are not partying with their friends, you may find bargains. I frequently tell them to go and make whatever money they can make then call me if they want to spend the rest of the night and make more.

Are there working chicas? Probably. Will they be in a venue like the Cocal or the HDR? No. You'll have to find them. Will they be easy to find? I don't know.

Something to consider...

At some point all the extra you'll pay for chicas' transit and opportunity cost might just exceed what you would pay getting a room.
