I'm trying to decide if I want to go to Jaco or San Jose. My 1st trip to San Jose I had a girl that I'd classify as a 7.5 for some wild sex at night, then she'd spend the night and we'd do it again in the morning all for $150 ($200 when I spent 12 hours with her). From what hear it's seems to be a consensus that the girls are hotter but more expensive in Jaco. Is it a reasonable assumption to add ~$100 to my nightly costs to pull that off at the Hotel Cocal? I was thinking about trying to set my limits to $250/night for the 7-8s and $300/night for the 9s. I'm in my early 30s, in good shape, a pretty good negotiator (not a natural born salesman but by no means a pushover). If I have to pay over $300/night I might just say screw it and go back to San Jose.

If you want an abundance of 7-8 and 9-10s, Jaco's Cocal is your place. Negotiate your price, depending on your looks and skill you may be very successful. Should be able to get $100 for ST and perhaps $200 TLN (all night). Of course, there will be some lookers that will not budge on their asking price...will depend on many factors, but no worries plenty to choose from!

San Jose, you can bargain as low as your imagination can take you  :D

Thanks Brandon. If I go to Jaco, I setting my high price at $200 for a 7-8, $250 for a 9-10.

Damn, why don't you just go to Vegas or Montreal at that budget? Or Budapest and have a real vacation.

I am jealous bud, really. That's my typical monger budget for a day. You should have no worries in Jaco. But I do suggest you avoid coming off as clueless about costs, or the chicas will treat you as such. They can swarm like starving rats.

Those prices would be good at Cocal for TLN...for an hour plus, $100 to 150 should be plenty across the board. Almost all chicas will start the conversation at $150 at Cocal these days, but most will go for $100. You can always mention an additional possible tip for good service....oh and one more very important thing, always pay after the session. Makes a big difference!

I wouldn't be stupid enough to pay $200-$250/he for any Chica. That's what I shoot for for a full nighter. Yes, I've read the 1 hour rate is $100-$150/hr.

Cool. Yer informed. While yer at Cocal, watch the clueless fishermen drink heavy and blow cash like there's no tomorrow. Then you'll truly understand the Cocal vibe.

I appreciate all your remarks and I'm glad there are people looking out for me making sure I don't spent $200+/hr!!! From my 1st San Jose trip I found I got well over twice the value by paying an extra $100 extra for the all night session. I will make sure it's agreed upon to have a nice long morning session butt naked in the shower. That was just about as fun as the bed with a full container of liquid soap dispenser to play around with the Nica!

I'm not going to bash you on the amount your spend - its your money, use it as you like. Some guys love the act of hard negotiating, some don't. Personal preference.

Just for information - I have had many all nighters in SJ for cien. One a couple of occasions when the chicas lived a way out of SJ and it was late, they actually asked. Sometimes if it is slow, you can ask the chicas and they will agree.

But for the most part, I'm a member of the "you pay them to leave club." I prefer to sleep alone and not worry about what is essentially a stranger in my room and my possessions. I can sleep through the train at La Amistad, but put somebody in my room and I'll wake everytime they move about.

On another note. I've been to SJ about a dozen times now, but on my next trip I've planned a side trip to Jaco. Now, I am beginning to have my doubts and having spoken to several gringos I've started a list of pros and cons:

PROS:
The are more girls, purported to be more 9s and 10s.
Beach.

CONS:
The only action is at the Cocal.
Chicas want more $$
Hotel and food costs are higher.
No action during the day.
Its hot - biggest complaint I hear.
Lots of bachelor parties - young, load and arrogant get on my nerves.
Transportation cost to get there and back.

Anybody care to add anything?

CONS :
Beach . . . it's a sewer delivering human waste from the central valley.

Not many chicas in the daytime. . . . without prior arrangements.

Listen man, only you can judge if the Jaco scene is for you. Go and experience it. Just go for 2 nights. That should be enough to soak up the environment and make up your mind.

There are lots of daytime adventure things to do to keep you occupied. Jaco is different than San Jose. Play to it's strengths, just like you do San Jose.

For me, I hate Jaco, but I am still going for 2 nights over MemDay (though I AM taking sand to the beach, so it might not be the same thing).

I'll probably do a 3 day trip to Jaco. If i like it great, if I find it's overrated, well...I've checked it off my bucket list.

Very good way to approach it...nothing at all like the Cocal scene in SJO, not even the memories of HDR back in its heyday

Have fun
