I'm not an old timer, at least I don't think I'm an old timer!! I'd stay in the gulch the whole 2 weeks & just make day trips to Ezcasu (sp??) for shopping or dining or whatever. You'll enjoy the ease of access to the nightlife much better by staying at the SL or another place in the Gulch. Do day trips, The staff at the Del Rey or SL can help you out with that. Maybe a 3 or 4 day trip to the CoCal on a weekend would be an awesome mid trip getaway.

Good Luck & Enjoy & be careful!!

Not trying to blow the owners but IMHO the SL is the perfect place for a nice long or short visit. Comradarie, fun girls, great location, nice cool weather outside, and a comfy room is making me re-consider even heading to the beach this week.

Know what you mean.....I've never been a fan of the beach (Jaco)..... Would rather hang around SL for the reasons you mentioned!!

If you are there for 2 weeks I think a few days in Jaco wouldnt be a bad idea. Just to get out of the city and for a change of scenery. I just got back last week, I think 14 full days in SJ would be a little much.

Agreed. The gulch gets dull on a 2 week stretch. Spend one weekend in Jaco.
