A dude was walking around the SL the other night with CRT on a laptop to boot .. he got his panties in a bunch when I called him out

Nhhank, you don't say what he was doing other than walking around. I don't see anything wrong with that. There have been many positive comments about people who write trip reports while sitting at the bar in the SL.

If you are concerned that someone may show a chica something that is written on CRT, most of them have already seen it.

Half the time I'm in SL, one or both of the computers in the back are opened to CRT. Have seen laptops and cell phones with CRT open many many times. With the sign Bill used to have up with CRT all over it, sure it isn't a secret from anyone who goes to the SL.

However, if Hank meant he was walking around showing stuff to girls then I'd have to agree....bad idea.

Why is it so bad if the girls see CRT? Most of them know about foro, and they can post on it themselves. And to be honest, foro is much bigger than CRT, and is far more worrisome to the ones who wish to remain in the shadows.

I'm not exactly sure what 'outing' a monger means, really. I do not consider myself doing anything that I could get in trouble for, and an angry hooker is near dead-last on my worry list.

That said, I have redacted parts of past trip reports when a chica asked to remove her name from such, but it didn't bother me. Still, some have a more nervous temperment.

Shenanigans like this have been going on for a long time. 10 years ago, when CRT had a fraction of the members it has today, there was a reasonable expectation of security in VIP even though there were breaches back then as well. After membership grew exponentially a few years later, incidents like these became commonplace and was tolerated by the Admin and membership alike. I've been on other monger sites where "snitches" are investigated and dealt with swiftly and harshly... yet, these sites are still plagued by leaks caused by irresolute "novios" and "ladies' men."

Nevertheless, throwing in the towel is not the answer. The OP did the right thing by calling the offender out. The ball is in admin's court now.

Honestly, any street person can do this to you as well, even if they've never seen you before. I was addressing the specific thread about a chica being mad about something on CRT.

I cannot believe that guys feel CRT is some secretive organization, complete with hand signals and sinister handshakes. Have none of these guys been on foro before? On there, clients will directly call out a bad provider by name, and report on attitude and service level, all in a public thread. The chicas are encouraged to post as well. None of this backroom snickering and stuff.

I am not saying Hank was off-base, but I have no idea what the dude at SL was doing with his laptop. He may have been filming the bar area. Frankly, electronics do not belong in a bar-type setting anymore.

What Nhhank is trying to say that the unnamed offender also had one of those "Go Pro" cameras and was filming that little soap guy(I forget his name) that Nhhank always travels with, in a compromising position, while simultaneously posting it "live" on CRT..... changes things a little bit......
