I have a couple of friends that would like to fish the Pacific side (and use it as a cover to do the Cocal). They have asked me to find out about the fishing seasons.

I don't fish, and know nadda about when's the good times to go to Jaco. Could someone fill me in, or point me to web-related information for them.

Thanks.

August, Sept. Oct. very bad, starts picking up in November, good to excellent December----March, April, okay , May, starts slowing down . The working girls refer to the good fishing season as gringo season in Jaco. Fishing coincides with rainy and dry seasons in Costa Rica.
