My last trip I stayed at Scores. This time I am looking for somewhere different. My budget is about $75 per night for a room. I do have a CRT card, which of these do you think is the best option?
Thanks

"BEST" is in the eye of the beholder. You, yourself, will have to decide what's best.

Call each of the reception desks, and ask for prices, room locations (size, noise), specials, discounts, amenities, extras, etc. Ask about what is important to you.

You've already been there, but my money would go to ScoreS. But that's just me and MY balance of factors. And I'm NOT you. But where else can you get a free girl included with your room rate EVERY DAY. And even if you choose to sample talent elsewhere (wise to do), ScoreS has no chica fee to bring her back to your room.

it all depends on what you are looking for.
Amistad is in your price range, you can add the all inclusive package and get the meals and be close to your budget.
Sportsmens is offering a 20% discount right now to CRT members, more variety of choices, will fit into your budget
Morazon is in your budget, personally do not like the place.

If you want to stay at Zona II, there is a CRT discount for 65 per night, Mona Lisa is also close by, you can get in for about $50.
Check out the thread listed below based on research Bashful Dwarf recently did.

Once piece of advice for newbies, get out of the hotel you are staying and tour the various places, you never know when your first choice may be full. Every one I have visited were more than happy to show of the various choices in rooms. Rooms do fill on holiday weekends and special events, it can be tough we trying to get multiple rooms at the same site.

Yeah, it depends what you want. If you want a place with monger camaraderie and chicas in waiting book SL, if you are looking for just camaraderie among fellow mongers, go to LA, if cheap is your thing, book at Morazán and you will be in the heart of the gulch.

all I want to say is that the Morazan is never the best option for anything. I've stayed there twice, enjoyed it, and would stay there again. But there is not a single subject where it is the best option.

And ... to see Morazan in the same sentence as SL and LA ... damn!

hmm ... do I want the Caddy ... or the Beemer ... or, what about that old used YUGO over there!!!

Never stayed at the Morozon and will never stay there. No reason for me.

La Amistad - great if you want to keep away from the drama of having chicas a bit too close all of the time. As long as you are "OK" with non-mongers in the building (and can respect them for that), LA is good. SL is close enough, but not too close. Food is good. Has a nice bar. I've stayed there a few times and would stay there again.

SL - first place I stayed when I went to SJO for the hobby. Stayed there twice. The positive is having chicas there at your disposal. A negative (compared to, say, Scores) is that the bar does not stay open late and the chicas leave. You have food. You have gringo company (if that's what you want - I really could care less about that). Again, I would stay there again. Just have some bad flashbacks to food poisoning on one trip that really put a dent in my trip (not blaming SL for that - could have gotten that anywhere).

Scores - I stay at Scores. I like the price. I like the food. I like the bartenders. I like the indies at night. I like the girls during the day. I like that it's next to Zona II. I like the location. I like that the bar is open until 1 a.m. I know you stayed there before and want to try something new, but for me this has the most upside....but that's just me.

I think any of the 3 are fine. Zona II may well be fine as well. Just never stayed there...and wonder what happens after they close at 9 p.m. But price at ZII has certainly gotten MUCH more reasonable recently.
